Q: What is the best way to clean these trainers?

When you get them, weatherguard them. Then any decent trainer cleaner will keep them white. AND I've put mine in the machine a few times on 20°.

Q: Is it 44.5 german size or 44?... i know that 10 uk is 44.5... but this table says 44 german.

Q: What material is the top of the shoe, it looks like leather (faux) in picture but says canvas in description. Need dry feet

They are faux leather. I'm on my second pair. The uppers crack after a while but are comfortable and as waterproof as is possible given the type C of shoe and material.
