A great way to put together a built-to-size car port cover.
I bought some chain-link fence rails at Home Depot to use which happened to be the right diamter and used these corner fittings and cut the rails to length with a sawzall to make a 20x20 foot carport over my driveway. I covered this with a heavy duty tarp and bungie fasteners and it's been working great for nearly a year now. Everything came together well and these are holding up great even in high winds. I recommend!

Function as well as a more expensive and heavier canopy frame
They do the job. A little bit lighter weight than the one I bought from a canopy supplier but it functions just as well

Just what we needed!
This set of connections is exactly what is advertised. Heavy duty and easy to install. We needed a covering for our bulkhead entrance so it could be utilized without water and snow on the bulkhead doors. Works perfectly. You cut your pipe (not included) to the lengths needed and your structure is up. Highly recommend!

Good strong frame pieces.
Good quality. Strong. Works well. The next hurricane will have a lot of trouble with this one.

Shelter on the run
I bought these to setup temporary shelter to cover my RV. It works. Just have to adjust the size of the with the length of poles you use. The size limit is based on the material you use. PVC can only support so much weight.

Almost 5 stars
Used to create a carport. I bought it knowing it was considered a temporary shelter, but I’m hoping for a few years.Mine is 9.8 feet wide by 20.4 feet long by 6 feet tall (at the corners). The size is flexible, within practical limits, and is determined by how long you cut the pipe. I purchased the medium sized frame and used galvanized chain link pipe for the runs. The kit is delivered with eyebolts for attaching the pipes to the fittings. The attachment basically relies on pressure from the eyebolt to slightly deform the pipes to get a small mechanical attachment. I guess the “small” depends on how much torque you use at the connection point. I went a different route since I am hoping for a long life. I drilled holes into the pipe so the eyebolts could penetrate through the pipe wall. That gives me more confidence in a longer life, but was a lot of trouble. A lot of measuring and marking and drilling. As far as the fittings go (those things you get in the kit that forms all the corners), they were quite good. All the angles matched up and the placement of the eyebolts was given some careful thought.I would do it again.

Saves money
Cheaper than building a shed and don’t have taxes on the squar footage.

Only fits EMT conduit. Does not fit galvanized pipe!
This is designed for EMT or electrical conduit ONLY! It will not fit structural galvanized steel! If you're making a tiny shack, you're fine to use EMT, but if you're making an actual large carport with these, just don't do it. Look for a product that specifies galvanized pipe fitment.
