A Beautiful Literary Work That Will Have You With All The Feels
I can't recall the last time a book moved me to tears, if ever, but K.M. Moronova's The Fabric of Our Souls had me crying by the end. I discovered this book through TikTok (BookTok), and it's a beautiful narrative where three souls intertwine, becoming each other's survival, friends, peace, and love, both platonically and romantically. The Fabric of Our Souls, with its beautiful prose, compelling plot, and unforgettable characters, particularly Lanston Nevers, has left a lasting impact on me. I cherish books that can evoke such strong emotions, and this is one of them. I will never forget the feelings it stirred in me, the tears I shed, the moments of laughter, and the sheer beauty of this book. If it's not on your tbr, it needs to be. However, I do caution you to read your trigger warnings.

Good Book but major plot holes that disconnect us from the Main Character.
I read this book in a night. It’s a beautiful dark romance. I like dark romances but a lot of the things authors get wrong is they have the MMC hurt the MFC and we’re supposed to enjoy it. It’s supporting domestic violence. I don’t enjoy those types of dark romances. But that’s one thing this author gets right. The characters really care about each other in the most beautiful way. They never intentionally or want to hurt each other. Which is the way love is supposed to be.I gave it a four because of 2 reasons.1. We never find out about the main characters past, I would’ve loved to know more her and her family. It was a huge plot hole because it kept mentioning parts like a piano teacher and her mother. If you’re not going to reveal the moment she realized she was broken or why she was broken at all why keep bringing up her past in vague ways. In the present the main character said that everyone hates her and she hurts everyone. But we had nothing to know where she got that from? I wanted to know how her mom died and where her dad was. It was hard to form an emotional connection to her because of this. I wanted to know more about her brother’s relationship with her.I’m a huge crybaby when it comes to books with feelings. Mainly because I put my self in the MC shoes. But this book did nothing for me, I felt no feelings. And I pretty sure it was because we had no back story or no deep dive into what makes our MC, our Main Character. The second reason is a baby came out of it. I hate that trope with a passion and there was no need for a baby. I understand the MMC and the MFC had a pregnancy kink but I didn’t think they would be dumb enough to bring a baby in it so soon without grieving properly or finding real time to heal.Overall it was just a decent read.

I’m obsessed with this book.
This book absolutely destroyed me and made me feel all of the feelings. K.M. Moronova is in my top 5 favorite authors now. I don’t want to say too much because you just gotta dive into it. The writing is outstanding, I adored BOTH MMCs and that never happens to me. This book was seriously incredible and I will be thinking about it for a long time. But I will say definitely proceed with caution this book is not for the faint of heart and is definitely a DARK romance. Please check your trigger warnings before reading! Also side note - the metal corner protectors I also got on Amazon!

Great story 🖤
This was a great book. It of course had spice but also a great story line. I wasn’t expecting to love this book as much as I did.

Not bad just not great
I had really high hopes for this book, and maybe that is why I find myself disappointed in the end. This book has been highly talked up, and I wanted to go in and see what everyone was raving about. At first, I really loved the storyline. Mysterious and dark are usually top reads for me. After Wynn gets to Harlow is where I started to really question wtf was going on. Liam is just toxic all around and not in a good way. The story quickly got derailed for me after he started treating her badly. She had attempted once, and all of the sudden, it was meant to seem like she was repeatedly doing it. Then, when they finally tell you what happened to make her like that, it was VERY BRIEFLY skimmed over at the end of the book. That's it. Just mentioned.I thought this book had great potential. The characters were diverse but similar enough they made sense together. The plot was strong until about mid book. I felt like Liam and Wynn had 0 chemistry and the spicy scenes had little to no lead up. They just happened.I honestly think I would have loved this book more if it had been Lanston and Wynn. They really cared and looked out for each other. All in all, it wasn't horrible. it just wasn't for me, I guess.

Screaming, crying, throwing up, ugly sobbing, bawling like a baby!
There are no words for this review. I just don't know what to say other than HELLA relatable as someone who suffers from depression among other things and this book was just perfect. I now have 2 more books to add to my one favorite book list (Under Your Scars was my favorite!)Also the second book isn't necessary to read BUT... You SHOULD. It gives so much closer and is also hella relatable.

BEAUTIFUL more than meets the eye
it's one of those books that sticks with you. You know when you close a book and you're just...thinking? Yeah, that's this one. The characters? Felt super real, like I was hanging out with them. They're flawed, they're messy, they're just...people.The writing? Really beautiful, but not in a pretentious way. It's like the author just knows how to make you feel things. There were moments I was laughing, and others where I was legit tearing up.It's not a fast-paced thriller or anything. It's more of a slow burn, you know? Like, you're watching a story unfold, and you're just along for the ride. It got me thinking about relationships, and life, and all that deep stuff. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars? There were a couple of moments where I felt like it dragged a tiny bit. But honestly, that's just nitpicking. Overall, it's a really solid, emotional read. Highly recommend if you want a book that'll make you think and feel.
