Great picks
Cant comment too much as im a beginner but I like the feel of them, ive tried quite a few picks and tend to prefer a sturdier, sharper pick and these fit the bill, comfy to hold and dont slip out my hand, good if you like thicker picks

The best standard sized plectrum available
I'm not a slipknot fan but I had to try this.If you love a full standar size plectrum then I urge you to try this. The etched logo design helps greatly with grip without being grabby on your fingers. The nylon material is very durable and lasts much longer than ULTEX and tortex for me.The best thing about this plectrum is nylon material paired with that Jazz III tip. The nylon gives a full well rounded EQ which is a perfect base to craft your amp and FX tones on top of.The Jazz III style tip is very durable and allows you to really dig into your strings for super heavy palm muted chords but also there is a buttery smoothness to the nylon which allows it to glide over strings with no drag or catching making fast runs and solos easier to play. Also being nylon it doesn't have the annoying chirp of denser materials. It's pretty much a nylon verion of Hetfield's Black Fang and it's a must try for anyone who uses standard sized plectrums. I really can't see any negatives to it.

Clear why Jim Root uses these. Great picks.
Really love these picks. They are expensive but they are brilliant for all my playing styles from Slipknot style heavy shredding to clean and precise melodic riff picking. The custom design is spot on. Traditional shape body with a Jazz III tip and just the right amount of grip exactly where you need it from the offset 4 and 9 point star logos. They are thick but they also have a nice amount of give in them and they do nicely flex a little which is cool for such a heavy gauge pick. Nothing like any other picks this thick that I have used.I am not sure I want to go back to using anything else.Jim Root uses them himself (they featured on his latest Premier Guitar rig rundown vid on YouTube) and has put his name (number) on them as his signature picks and that is all the endorsement I need.

Great picks
Picks feel great to use, solid, with a good sharp guitar tone. My only extremely minor gripe would be that the design/logo isn't as prominant or contrasting as it appears on the listing, although they still provide active grip without feeling abrasive even after extended use

Fantastic - Not just for Slipknot fans
Fantastic plectrums. Took me a while to pull the trigger on these as they are expensive for a pack of 6 however they are great. These are my go to pick for all guitars/genresI had been using jazz 3 xl and still found them a bit small. These are the perfect size (for me) being closer to a tortex and offer a nice sharp edge for flow but a nice size for strumming.Fairly hard wearing and easy to file a new edge if you wanted. The offset star and number four are well placed to give enough grip without restricting ability to move the plectrum about.I’ll certainly buy more once these are done.

Great picks
Thanks to James Hetfield's Black Fang picks, I will only use picks that are the standard shape with a sharp point. I got the Jim Root picks to directly compare to the Black Fangs, and I really liked them. Being nylon, there was a bit of burred plastic around the bevel of the pick but nothing some sanding on your jeans won't sort. I think I still prefer the Black Fangs which have a matte finish, but the Jim Roots do make a nice change with their raised logos for grip. I have zero regrets buying them.

Favourite picks
I don’t play any other picks now because these are just so good, the designs add a bit of “grip” which feels great whilst playing and they feel super sturdy

Can't make my mind up due to the cost
I cant make up my mind. I like them and are a pleasant change from the 1.4mm tortex I buy.The tortex provide more mids and bass and have a fuller sound. However these ones feel nicer, and when new slip over the strings better than tortex.I would buy them again but at this price not sure if I can justify it.

These are awesome!
Now I know why Root uses them. They wicked. The logo on each side helps holding it too. Does not slip outta your hand.

Perfect pick
Optimized for playing and I even believe tone. Clearly designed with the input of someone who performa live regularly, makes chording and solos effortless. Lasts longer than most picks I’ve used. Fairly thick but I don’t play thick usually and find them so ergonomic.

escorrega

It’s ok
