Yes, very well if you select "Dry" mode. Dry mode runs the fan at very low speed to dehumidify without over-cooling your room(s).

has anyone used a generator to run the 24,000 btu unit?

Sorry guys, not really that efficient for a ductless unit. 19 SEER and 12 HSPF are what is considered mid range efficiency for a ductless unit. Pricing is ok, but use a 240 volt style if you possibly can, 120 Volt is an odd voltage unless you have specific requirements like I do. These should work down to at least 28 degrees but look carefully at the specifications. If you are unable to make heads or tails of the specifications, then get a pro to do the install and save yourself a bunch of misery down the road, and that advice is for all brands. Actual HVAC professional

Does it come with a condenser mount?

All the hardware needed was in my package. I’m not exactly sure what you mean about the condenser mount though.

Can the interior unit be connected to existing ductwork?

The inside unit is made to work in open air space. So no it will not work with new nor existing duct
