Perfect cooler
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Easy to carry, floats for pool or lake use. Holds 24 cans plus ice. Shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. Roll down style for holding less. Doesn’t leak when ice melts! Keeps cold all day at the beach!

Nice bag
Works well to keep medication cold for less than 24 hrs provided you have the right (amount) of frozen ice packs.

Happy to have it!!
I purchased this bc I travel for work and do not like to eat fast food all the time. When I fly into a new city my first stop is a grocery store in my way to my hotel. It's easy enough to store my items in the hotel fridge but I needed a cooler I could pack in my suitcase for when I check out of a hotel in the morning and my food has to sit in a hot rental car all day while in I'm a production plant. This means I tend to check out around 7 am and it may be 7 pm before I am at my next hotel to put my food in the fridge. Before I used it the first time I did a test at home putting just a bag of ice from the gas station in it and putting it in my husband hot truck while it was 105 F outside. That test did not go well and I have to admit I was disappointed. Understanding a little about thermodynamics I decided to sacrifice some yogurt and fruit to the heat gods and see if I filled it up if it would perform better. THAT WAS THE TRICK! I put ice on the bottom, the yogurt, fruit, and three bottles of water then filled with ice the rest of the way to the point I could fold the top over twice. Then I blew up the valve, sealed and put it back in the truck. Outside it was 105 F so who knows how hot it was in the truck!! I left it for 16 hours and when I opened her up everything was super cold! The bottom of it did condensate some and so the floor was wet where it had been sitting. A few weeks later I got to put it to the test. I went to AZ where it was 117 F out and I left it in my rental car trunk for 10 hours. Everything made it just fine!!! So I don't know if some of the negative reviews were because the people did not fill it up all the way or what. I've now used it 7 times for a full week each time. Each time it's packed very snuggly into my suitcase and then pulled out at location. Then toted around my hotel and rental car all week and I have had zero issues with it getting torn up at all. I would purchase again for sure!! I've paid $30 and $45 dollars for much less of a cooler before.

Works as described
I needed this to keep my medication cool while I traveled. I needed something that would stay cold for at least 16 hours so I tested it ay home for 24 hours and when I checked it, one of the ice packs still had ice in it and the bag was still cool. I got the mini size bag which ideally is still big for only a couple of vials of meds but I tested many of the medical grade insulin travel cases and none of them stayed cold long enough. Hope this helps!

Lots of positives and a few drawbacks
Generally speaking, this was a great cooler. It's the first of this type that we've purchased (all of our others are the hard, box type), and worked well for what we needed it for... a tropical vacation where we wanted the ability to bring our own drinks to the beach. Below are the pros and cons of the IceMule:PROS:- Awesome to pack in a suitcase. I was able to roll this up and place it along one side in my suitcase. This is simply not something you can do with a "regular " cooler.- Quality. While we've only used it for the one trip, it seems really well made. I expect it to last for years.- Keeps things cold. While it didn't keep things cold as long as we expected (it worked for the day, but by the next morning, all of the ice had melted and the water wasn't that cold anymore), it definitely worked for our purposes.- Design/look: Pretty easy and comfortable to carry on your shoulder.CONS:- Not a lot. I really like the cooler. I guess the only thing I was a little disappointed about was that we filled it with ice and drinks about noon one day. Ice was partially melted that evening, and totally melted by the next morning. Maybe that's the norm. I just expected some magical freezer like effect I guess ;).If you're looking for a collapsible cooler, this one is great. So much less expensive than some other brands (you know the one I'm talking about), but works well, is easy to carry and even easier to pack, and based on what I can tell in owning one for a short time, is well made.

Collapsible Cooler
I was very skeptical about this product prior to purchase. I was going to Yellowstone and needed a cooler that I could pack in my luggage that wasn't made of cheap materials. This cooler was great. Very durable and made with top materials. We used this to put our lunches in while driving in the car.I also took this cooler on another trip to Costa Rica. Used it when we went on the boat and when we rented four wheelers. The fold down top and trap are features that I really like. This is not a cooler that will keep your items cold for days. This is great for day trips. It is also great for travel when you need to pack it in luggage.

Awesome for solo weekend trips
I've used this 20L bag for three weekend trips so far. Daytime temps in the 80s and night temps in the 50s. Pre-chill your drinks. I put two layers of 10 cans on the bottom of the cooler, a salad kit, grillable vegetable and meat, macaroni salad, a small desert, and a couple other odds and ends. On top of this I put one 8lb back of ice, or 2 5lb bags. At this point the bags pretty full and I can't roll the top and clip it, so I just pinch the two sides together like a ziplock and give it a quarter-fold. It seems to stay mostly closed until the ice melts or I drink a couple cans. About half a day it, I can get the top to fold and clip. I like the bag over a traditional cooler because it more easily fits in my truck within my reach and I can carry it to/from the apartment, plus it store easy. For smaller day trips, it still feels compact enough to not feel bulky. I am happy with the 20L and wouldn't recommend a smaller bag unless you are positive you are doing drinks only. I haven't used the inflatable wall much, but its cool having it. The black one I purchased came with the preferred style nozzle.
