Hi. Thank you for your question! Tree nuts is the general term that we use to explain potential allergen contained in the product. On the wrapper, we use the short term because there is no much space for long description. It is mentioned on the package ingredient list as : Fully Hydrogenated Coconut Oil. Coconut oil is classified as Tree Nuts. Hope this helps!
