Q: older house, have air-condition vent on the ceiling. how do you cut and re instal those vents since PVC tile is not flat?

This will help you determine the size of the opening you need to cut in the PVC tile. Mark the cutting area: Using a pencil or a marker, mark the area on the PVC tile where you need to make the cut. We installed this product last year as a drop in ceiling tile. I would NOT use in a kitchen as a backsplash. I believe it would melt and would be extremely difficult to clean.
