It uses velcro strips to attach to the gun. It's pretty rigid and not all that flexible.

Q: Can i cut a section, to make it so is only 4 shells to fit the savage arm 320 ?

Yes, if you use exterior grade 3M mounting tape you can. There are also a couple kits here with it already aplit into 4+2. Look around

Q: Will these fit 20 gauge shot shells in them ?

Good morning! I’m sorry but I do not know. I’ve only used them for 12 gauge and I’ll be honest, you have to place the shells in brass up because they will slip out. You might want to call the manufacturer if possible.
