TONY NORTHRUPS DSLR BK

New to Digital photography there is a lot I have learnt and understood form this book. As Tony says in the initial chapters I find a difference in the photos I have taken since then.Book is very well organised in terms of knowledge and exposure to techniques. Its has a good balance of Photography Techniques, Equipment, Composition, Lighting , Post precessing, with a very good introduction to Different domains such as Landscape , Portrait , Macro, Under water and more.Videos aid in conveying the idea Tony and Chelsea Present in the chapters. A blend of books and Videos from the authors with their YouTube Channel is an amazing way to start this never ending journey into photography.Though Yet to own a SLR rather my first Digital Camera ,restricted by finances as a student I have been postponing it for later in life. I bought this book before a 14 hrs long journey, reading this book has inspired me to start with what I have. I have been experimenting with my mobile camera and I realise there is a lot you can learn even before you get your camera.I strongly Recommend this book for amateurs and beginners for a strong and clear basic foundation. I am sure a hobbyist or even professional can gain a lot. Authors have shared a lot of resources. I am definitely buying the next Book for Lightroom and eagerly waiting for the one on Photoshop.@Authors The story behind the covers of the books is amazing. Though I am a bit late for Christmas but here are some wishes.I thank the authors for this amazing book and learning resources they provide.

I had sneaked a preview of the book and liked it. I have bought this book after two years of buying my first DSLR. Although I had used one before and owned a film SLR camera I have learnt a lot about using this camera from the manual. But there are quite a few things I didn't learn from the manual and my 2 year experience. This book has helped me to overcome the difficulties. There are things that I learnt in my 2 year old journey with my 1200D, and it is nice to see them written clearly in the book. I liked both the technical and artistic advice in this book. I would recommend this book to anyone who is seriously planning to buy a DSLR or have bought one. Thanks Tony and Chelsea Nothrup.

The book helps a lot and I loved it,The way u explained every thing was grt, got to learn few new things, got a lot of answers for the doubts I had,There were few just 1 or 2 links I guess I couldn't understand y were they added,The only picture I found with good quality is the cover may be this is because it's an E-copy but I wish the pics were looking good for a bit more better understanding, and the videos helps.

Fantastic tutorial for both beginners and professionals. You'll like how they explain you the different techniques to make you understand. Totally worth buying.

The book quality is very good (but the packing from the seller was not so good... its OK OK).On the book it is written as 12 Hours of Video (Please don't expect a video CD) the link is given in the book, just we need to use any web browser and give the link and watch the video (I was confused, so just a friendly reminder.)The content of the book is sooooooooooo goodddddddddd (Worth for the money paid). Well thought out book and easy to follow

The media could not be loaded.  I've been into photography for more than 5 years during which I've followed many YouTubers and watched many tutorials. I can say this book still taught me useful things and helped me be more creative. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoy photography and has an interest in learning how to be better.
