Wera 05004064001 Full Metal Ratchet with Switch Lever

Ratchet is good.Price is a bit on heigher side but being a imported ratchet from Germany, I think it can justify the price.Given It 5 stars if the finish of the product would be more precise & premium, However no complaints abot the finish as it looks good but only problem is that you can see the marks of machining at the the entire sides of the handle.Ratcheting function is good & feels solid but I recommend using the Wera ratchet with the Wera sockets only as sockets from other brands do not attach as good as the Wera ones.

To begin with all well light and easy use for minor jobsDropped it and the release mechanism has broken already!I was well happy but so did appointed that so fragile unluckyI ll let know if manufacturer could refund me

Went through 3 ratchets in the past 12 months and wanted something that was durable and up to the job. I work in the lift and escalator industry and a ratchet is my go to tool.The Wera ratchet although expensive feels great in the hand. It’s not light compared to other ratchets but heavy. It’s weight makes it easier to tighten or loosen nuts and bolts and the handle is perfectly shaped to fit in your hand.Have it now 3 months and no complaints at all. I next plan on getting the Wera Joker spanner’s.

I've used FOUR 1/2" ratchets in the past 2 years. This is the only one that has survived, and it still works great.It's really handy for access to tight areas, both in terms of the size of the head, and the return angle. Good release mechanism too.I've had my cheap 1/4" ratchets break too and will be purchasing Wera's like this to replace them

I bought these as I owe some wera tools already. Wera to me means quality only. I like these as they are whole metal no rubber handel so they are easy to clean and they will last forever. Also the size of the head is really small which comes in really handy in tight spaces. Would buy these over snap on all day.
