This will work for our winter coats and was easy to assemble but it is cheaply made. The paint is already chipping off in many places and has lots of paint defects. It’s also not level at the feet so it wobbles a bit and will have to fix it. Also the hooks are fixed in their positions so you can’t play around with placement. It would have been nice if they staggered them do they weren’t overlapping each other.

Only gave this 3 stars because the finish is flaking off in many places. Was going to return it but because of the size I decided to keep it and touch up the flaking spots

I know some of the reviews I read were talking about how their stand was not square, or leaned to one side. All I can say is that I took a couple extra minutes as I was assembling it to make sure that the threads weren't tightened down to the point where the tree wasn't level or square. It's held up to my three kids tossing coats, hats, scarves, and snowpants on it, and then ripping them all back off again. The bottom is sturdy enough and well-proportioned to prevent easy tipping and I've been very happy with it. The farmhouse/industrial look is exactly as pictured and I found it to overall be a good value for the style I wanted.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I was really disappointed in this coat rack. The box that I received was brand new from the manufacturer and packaged well, but the black paint was flaking and showing the bright silver metal underneath it on all of the pieces in really obvious spots. I own a lot of industrial furniture, and it’s usually powder coated steel when it’s covered in a matte black finish like this. I know this piece was a lot more affordable than the pieces that I own from CB2, but I don’t even think it was worth the $80 plus that I paid for it. The paint isn’t even flaking in a cool, vintage way. It’s flaking in an ugly cheap way.

Very sturdy and doesn't tip easily

Arrived with chips in the paint and when assembled it does not stand straight. Very poor quality.
