People who train hard demand more effective protein. To maximize muscle growth and ensure proper protein utilization, musclepharm scientists fortified combat protein powder with a variety of protein blends that digest at varying rates, for up to 8 hours. * the great-tasting, easy-mixing digestive blend is fine tuned for true nutrient utilization—a step ahead in protein powder technology. Most supplement companies seem to be okay with the status quo, the minimum. Combat protein powder is precision-engineered with whey protein concentrates, hydrolysates and isolates, egg albumen, micellar casein. Whey protein isolate: wpi digests and absorbs rapidly and the highest available yield of protein. Partially hydrolyzed whey protein: broken down into faster-absorbing peptides, this rapidly infuses muscle-building amino acids.

BEWARE!!! COULD BE FAKE.
This product is definitely not the original!I have been purchasing MP Combat protein powder in the same cookies n cream flavor for years now, however never from Amazon. I bought it because I ran out and I wasn't able to go to Costco for a few days.I received it on Saturday, and used it for the first time today, which is Monday. Upon receiving it I immediately noticed some differences:1. As soon as I opened it I noticed the difference in smell. I thought since it'd been a couple of days since I ran out I forgot the smell.2. The taste was definitely far different for any other batch I'd gotten.3. There was no similitude in consistency what so ever. I usually have to shake it well for at least 1-2 mins to get it to "dissolve" with water. This one I shook maybe 3-5 times and it was fully dissolved. Also, it didn't have the cookie crumbs.Difference in Container: Because the difference in taste, I check the bottom to see if perhaps the batch was expired, and to my surprise I found some odd difference in the container.1. All the other containers are marked at the bottom with "Lot#:________,Exp:______, and Packaged:_____", and all in the same size. The one I just received is marked slightly different, and in a much smaller font.2.Also at the bottom, the other containers have a number, which is either 72 or 73 next to the recycling triangle and the letters LDPE. This knock off, however, is marked as IK-6.3. The logo at the bottom is way less detailed then the original containers. The dimensions for the logo are also off.4. Lastly, also at the bottom, there are 4 little mounts that protrude. Again, this product does not have it.5. Also, there is a high difference in the quality for the little scoop. It looks different and much more cheap.I attached my own pictures as proof. However, after noticing the differences I read some reviews and found one that also deemed it a fake.

Tastes Good, Super Cheap
There's a lot of fuss about how this stuff tastes which I can't explain. I've had chocolate, vanilla, and cookies and cream and they all taste good. You aren't going to think you're drinking a Dairy Queen milkshake, but it's good. And if you can't drink something because it doesn't taste like the aforementioned milkshake, perhaps needlepoint would be a better choice of activity for you than weightlifting. It mixes pretty well, too. There's a little chunking but not bad. The only real problem as far as that goes is with the cookies and cream. The "cookies" all sink to the bottom and get stuck to the side of whatever you're drinking out of as it empties, but I don't consider that a big deal. The best thing about it is the price. Right around 40 bucks for 75 servings. You can't beat that.If you're looking for perfection, Legion Whey tastes great and mixes amazingly well, but you're going to pay $40 for 30 servings last time I checked. If you aren't a delicate little flower, Muscle Pharm Combat protein tastes good, mixes well, and is a great value. It's my new choice for my protein shakes.

Delicious
Switching from 100% whey to a blend since I usually only do one shake a day. This stuff tastes great and keeps me feeling full for much longer than the 100% whey. I saw a few reviews that said this stuff doesn't mix well but that really depends on your shaker. If I use the metal "spring" ball than it's fine but it takes a lot more shaking if I use the plastic ball from my Contigo cup but I have that problem even with my pre and that mixes much easier.

Buyer Beware
After trying this protein powder I noticed it wasn't quite right. It dissolved with very little effort (not typical of a good powder) and once it was mixed it had the consistency of skim milk. It also tasted extremely sweet. I contacted Muscle Pharm, who makes this powder. The lady I spoke with asked me to send her some photos of the tub. She told me that all their tubs have an expiration date and lot number stamped on the bottom, which this product does not have as you can see in the first photo. I also asked her about the number you see circled in red in the other photo, and she said that their labels don't look like that. The number is 06292015 and it seems to be the date of packaging. So either this is a knockoff protein powder or it's more than 3.5 years old. Either way, I'm returning it.

NOT all protein is equal and MP is A+ in my book.
First I want to say that not all protein is equal. People who train hard demand a superior and more effective protein. This protein is higher quality without all the extra protein. For people that are trying to hit their MACRO's but also trying to stay low on the calories and your wallet. This protein is for you.It also has a great taste with water. Which is what you want when you are done crushing it in the weight room. You don't have milk or ice ready. Well unless you are at home working out. Which is kinda hard to crush weights at home where no one can see you crush the said weights. So it's really like it didn't happen.
