These are, without a doubt, the most comfortable "house" shoes I've had in a LONG time, if not forever. They are light, they feel light, and pillow comfortable. I am not that effusive when I review clothing and shoes and stuff like that - I know everybody's experience with such things can be very different. All I know is I have problems with my feet and need nice cushiony house and yard shoes. These are not for spending a day at an amusement park or walking a couple of miles each way to work every day. But for what I use them for they are perfect!

I am not sure why I bought this pair of shoes, since the picture made them look shabby and I wasn't really looking for boat shoes, but something comfortable for the summer. When I ordered my first pair, they arrived in a bag, which seemed to confirm my suspicion that these were going to fall apart immediately. WRONG! These are the most comfortable shoes I own.Who cares if they come in a bag? When I tried them on the first time, I immediately knew this was exactly what I wanted. I have been wearing them for about a month without socks, and I was sure this was going to make them fall apart. WRONG AGAIN! They have stood up to chasing the dog around the backyard, doing yard work, etc. I have tile throughout the house and am prone to walking around with no shoes on. I had these shoes on yesterday and remember thinking this was even better than being barefoot.They slip on easily, although you can't do it hands free. And the construction is such that there is never a moment when you lift your foot to take a step and feel like they might come sliding off. I have worn them with and without thin summer no-see socks. Just as comfortable either way.At this price, I was afraid that they'd sell out and I would never find another pair, so I reordered several pairs in both grey and black. They are sitting in the closet (in their bags) in case my first pair goes. But I see no sign of wear even at the corners where the spandex-type material is sewn in to allow you to slip your foot in.Some other observations:: there is virtually no arch support in these canvas shoes - they are flat with a cloth-lined interior. If you need arch support or are standing in these for a long time these probably won't work for you. Also a plus - if you have trouble with tying shoes due to arthritis or other conditions, these are an easy fix. You need to pull the heel up to get them on securely, but other that that you don't need to mess around with ties, tying, and ties coming undone.They do look a little rough. That's intended to make it look like you spent the summer on your yacht in Palm Beach. Apparently it works -- I got a compliment on them from a friend who only wears Tiffany, Prada, and Gucci. Frankly, I don't care how they look -- I am wearing them around my house and all I want is to be comfortable and not think about shoes pinching, scraping, binding. I'll wait to see on the construction and long life, but for now these make as much sense to me at Sperry's canvas boat shoes which can cost twice as much.

I bought 2 pairs of theses shoes. A size 11 1/2 for my husband who has a wide foot, and they fit perfect. I bought a 9 1/2 for my 12 year old son, and I should of bought a 9, he has a narrower foot. I am returning for the 9, but that was totally my fault. Depending on the style of shoe he bounces betweeen those 2 sizes. Other than that, they will work perfect for what we need them for, a beach wedding.

If I were working in New York or LA I would not wear these to a meeting, though I don't live in those places so I do. I am glad I bought them larger than my foot size as they would not have fit. I think they are great and wear them to the beach as well as the store and yes even to meetings. I am a real estate agent and my feet have to feel good with the amount of walking and standing that we do. I believe these shoes would fit anyones needs that is looking for a shoe that is just plain comfortable to wear.

I have purchased SEVERAL pairs of casual looking boat shoes for my husband to wear. Whether for beach trips or just to slightly dress up a pair of jeans. All of them (and some quite expensive) have been uncomfortable and absolutely tore up his heels from a stiff back that we could not get to relax. This pair is soft and flexible and causes no discomfort while walking and has caused no problems from rubbing on the back of the heel. He asked me to order him more in other colors. 10/10 Highly recommend!

I'm retired and tend to hang around the house wearing house shoes a lot of the time. Especially in the morning when I drinking coffee. Sometime I go outside and forget to change shoes and ruin my house shoes. These work great during the day when I'm up and active to bridge that gap. As soon as I finish my coffee I put these on. Then I don't put my house slippers on until I'm done for the day and come inside to stay. They are light and comfy yet sturdy enough to walk around outdoors in. I don't go out in them but around the house or to walk out to the garden for a tomato they are great. Thinking of another pair to keep clean enough to make quick trip to town for a shopping trip or to the convenience store.

I really like these, comfortable, cool, really good fit, and a really nice alternative to flip flops in the summer.Many canvas style shoes don't have a high enough lift and seem to be tight over the instep...not these.Easy on and off, secure fit, no struggle to get on and off. Near instant break in and wide enough not to pinch even with wide feet.Highly recommend.

Not what I expected. When I opened the package, I thought they would never fit my feet. What a great feeling to see that they fit perfectly and are way more comfortable than my old shoes. I was expecting a hard fabric with a lot of chafing like my old athletic shoes which cause a lot of pain after a short time due to constant pressure on my heels. These shoes are more casual and have a soft fabric which feels really great all around.

Amazing shoe for 3 weeks. Comfy, cheap, great for walking around Cuba on vacation.I thought they were dirty until I realized the sole wasn’t covered in dirty, but almost completely warn away. Even dragging my feet for 3 weeks they should wear this badly (I walk like a normal human, I don’t drag my feet like a sleepy caveman).Sadly the shoes are all but garbage now. I give it one star because I don’t think any shoe should be this eroded after less than 3 weeks of ownership (ps, I only wore these for about 4 days of the last 3 weeks, maybe walking a total of 15km in dry heat. No moisture except some light showers one day)Don’t buy

My foot size is normal to slightly narrow. Usually a size 10. Reviewed product info and reviews, seen the small fit comments. used Amazon foot sizing tables. Ordered a 10.5. The length is a good fit, but wow, very tight all around my foot. Not comfortable, can't wear. Will return if one of my nephews can't use them.

I ordered a slightly bigger size than I normally would (only slightly bigger because I knew I'd wear them without socks). The size is just right (don't think my normal size would have fitted as well).The shoes are very comfortable. My only issue is that the very top layer of the insole soon 'disintegrates' (I mean becomes torn and tattered). This is a bit irritating (especially if you're OCD!! LOL). I think I'll eventually try one of 2 options:- (a) tear off that top 'layer' or (b) not use the insoles at all. Other than this, I'm well pleased with these boat shoes.

They look great but they are WAY too big.. I own a pair of the original Sanuks in an 11 and they’re a touch small so I figured I’d try these in a half size bigger by but they seem to be almost a full size bigger, than the 11.5 I tried to order. Hard part is they don’t have the size anywhere in or on the shoe. I’d like to try returning and trying a different size but I’m just not sure I can trust what Size im getting. Shoes look great, seem comfortable, just sizing issue

They're what you'd expect for what you pay order 1 size up though.
