Q: My unit says it expires in 2022. Do I have to buy a new one now?

If you are looking at the manufactured date on the back of the unit it should say 2022 and the unit is good for 10 years after that manufacture date.

Q: The manufacturer sticker says “manufactured : 2012/September 26” then the other sticker says “replace in 2022”, so do I need a new one?

Most detectors have an average 10 year life span. It's probably wise to replace it after 10 years.

Sadly, there are many bad listings on Amazon like this, and sadly when a Seller tries to change the information, Amazon almost automatically sends a rejection stating that the "brand owner" is the only one that can make changes to the page. And in most cases the "brand owners" never do anything and bad listings remain bad listings forever. We found the manual of this QS5110-840 model and there it states the Tx Frequency: 319.5 MHz (crystal controlled). Hope this helps.
