The serum is excellent, covers the cold sore with a clear film, can be used all through the healing process and prevents the nasty scabs occurring. In my opinion it is far better than the patches you can buy. The prevention stick is also very useful.

I suffer with awful coldsores whenever I’m run down & this has popped up the last few times I’ve had one and I’ve held off trying it because of the price but this stuff is amazing!! Just a thin layer over the sore & after two days it was just a minor red mark, completely skipped the blistery/weepy stage too. Knocked one star off as it does have the pva glue like peel effect to it where after a while you can see the edges peeling up but I’d 100% recommend it for its healing powers!

The only thing that works for me. The rest just sooth temporarily but this does what it says.

The serum (5ml tube) takes the pain from the cold sore almost instantly, but I did find you still get a little of the crawling sensation at odd times. It helps to mask it a little and It's easy to remove by soaking with tissues, I used cold water, or washing gently with warm water, making cleaning of the area easy. It seals the cold sore and stops that nasty crust forming. Needs to be reapplied after eating or drinking, but it doesn't take long to dry, maybe 30 seconds. It looks and smells like PVA, and that's because that's what it contains, along with other healing/soothing ingredients. This is much better than the patches, which peel off easily and can get food stuck under the patches making it look unsightly. No chance of that happening with this serum.The balm is fp30 sunblock, but I didn't find it moisturising as other lip sun blocks I have used, so I popped some vaseline over the top to help moisturise my lips. A sunblock is a must to help prevent coldsores during sunny summer days, so I'm glad this was included in the pack.

You have to try this. I had a massive crop on my lower lip. Usually I take a lyesine supplement but had forgotten, stress and sun caused awful outbreak. Sooooooo painful.Stings a bit at 1st. But it's like a layer of PVA glue. Seals, stops pain. When got wet brushing teeth, peels off and somehow takes a bit of coldsore with it ?Also stops sting of food and drink, I even think it reduces swelling.Can't really describe it. Bit expensive, you get a "free" lip balm, but worth every penny.

Not as inconspicuous as the stick on patches. But it's ok, I guess if you wanted to put make up on, this might help. It's a bit like PVA glue- you put a dab over the cold sore and it seals it over. I can't say it got rid of them faster than normal. I find taking lysine is the key.

I've always used zovirex and compeeds.. this product has totally amazed me, works so well. And will definitely buy again and store it in case I get coldsores again. Suffered for yrs, this product cleared mine in 3 days wow, and the glue film works soooo well to protect it.It stings a lil bit when applying, but believe me it works. Thanks so much.
