Halo 2 Anniversary Original Soundtrack

Not as good as the original, except Genesong which is so much better

Bought this for the husband, who loves to play Halo everything. He loves the sound track that goes with the games. When he is out in the garage working on stuff, he pops this into his stereo and listens to it. We live in a covenant neighborhood (no pun intended), so you can probably figure how this is going ;)

this item is over all outstanding if you're looking for an amazing record with amazing sound and vintage looks then this item is for you.I suggest this record should be played on a turntable that fits the record fully otherwise there is a somewhat warping sound. overall this is an outstanding item that I would recommend to everyone interested in Halo 2 soundtracks

Bought the original Halo 2 album back when the original Halo 2 game was released. Love the songs from that album back then, love the songs that are on the Anniversary soundtrack just as much. With the proper stereo system, surround sound system and music player, the main song on the album....no real words can describe the awesomeness properly.

Good soundtrack, the re-recordings are great and faithful to the original. The only reason it gets 4 stars rather than 5 is because some themes were omitted, such as the track titled "Unyielding" in the original, and the Delta Halo theme. I don't understand how you can leave the second Halo ring's theme out of the Halo 2 soundtrack... Makes no sense to me.

Sounds great! Although I had a couple times where the disc would skip to the next track but after I took it out, cleaned it, and put it back in the player, it worked fine.

Not as good as the original release, but not half bad either. A number of songs (like Rue and Woe, Unforgotten) were improved, others were messed up a bit (Destroyer's Invocation (part of Mausoleum Suite) Heretic, Hero), and some are about the same even if the original may be slightly better, (High Charity). Overall, good buy.

The soundtrack is amazing and atmospheric! It's a good remix of the old tracks.The case this comes in is of poor design, though. The prongs that hold the disks in are super loose and so the disks are constantly just rattling around inside the case. Combine this with the fact that it has to go through shipping and, yeah, you're more than likely going to get a scratched disk. My Disk 1 came scratched, but thankfully the scratches were negligible and didn't impact playback or cause file corruption.

So this was disappointing. It contains 13 tracks of the OST, and not even the best ones, just seemingly random tracks with 1 of them lasting just 34 seconds. I have the original CD which has great music and the new CD doesn't disappoint. It has great rock music and remakes of the songs on the old CD

The return of one of the greatest Soundtracks of all time. Arguably just as good as the original, 343 have done it again!
