Very convenient, handy bag. Is a great item to have for traveling, hiking, going to the beach etc. Waterproof so you won't have to worry if it rains or if it drops momentarily into the water. I especially like how it folds and goes into the pouch, making it very portable. It fits just about anywhere. I very much recommend this bag.

Very good light weight pack that’s stores in a small attached bag. It is LIGHT weight so the material is THIN. Do not expect to heavy objects in it and expect to last. We use primarily as stuff sack for sweatshirts or to take to the farmer market - sometimes I do worry if it will hold the vegetables we put in it but it has held up for the past couple months. It is exactly what I expected and works great for what I bought it for.

It folded up very small and was easy to get back in the pocket. I'm not sure if it's waterproof because I returned it. The problem was that it looked odd when I tried it out at home. Like I was borrowing a bag from my child. I'm 5'6" and HWP, and the bag looked bizarre. Good for a short adult or child.

It depends what you are looking for.As a super small, very light pack when space is at a premium, it is perfect. However its total lack of any pockets or organization, it isn't a great choice for keeping small items handy (other than the stuff pouch oddly attached at the inside top that can act as a pocket). It is nice looking, and appears to be well made with good quality fabric and stitching. The pack in the middle of my photo is the Osprey Ultralight Stuff pack. It is slightly bigger, about $10 more, but has a bunch of storage pockets and external water bottle holder. It is a much better choice if staying organized is important. I lived out of the Osprey for 4 days after my luggage was stolen in France (stay away from Marseille!). The pack on the right is much bigger but not too big and has pockets and is a great budget choice (this is the smaller of the two sizes). Nothing wrong with the Diamond Head if light and small is your top priority.

I've been looking for a smaller than small packable, sturdy backpack and the Pali 20L is perfect for my needs. It is the most lightweight I've seen on the market, yet made of relatively durable material that is not paper flimsy. I'm small and it fits within my closed hand so I can put it easily in my coat pocket or small purse. I use it on my daily walks when I occasionally stop at the grocery store for some items and can easily carry back without toting cumbersome canvas shopping bags. I plan to use on vacations when browsing markets or shopping stalls and find I have more to carry back than anticipated. Plan to purchase several more for sharing with family!

I took this daypack on a trip to Africa and have been using it as my daypack to carry a few things like Sunscreen, bug spray and a jacket. After 2 weeks one of the zippers came off the lining, I didn't think much of this as the other zipper still worked. After 4 weeks the lining ripped off and it's now useless.I'm now stuck without a daypack for the rest of my journey.

Great pack. Super light-weight. I love that it folds into itself--the pouch could fit in your pocket it's so small. Unfortuantely after a few days of use one of the shoulder straps is almost completely warn off. Maybe they should add more stitching? Or more material? It's very thin.In spite of this I might actualy but it again because it's pretty cheap and super convenient.

This pack fulfills all its promises. It is extremely lightweight and compact. With a light load (water bottle, light jacket, snacks, etc.) it can comfortably accommodate. The bag becomes uncomfortable once you put more stuff in it and anything with hard/sharp edges since there is no padding. It is a great pack to take with you when traveling/shopping since it takes up so little space when it's not in use.
