Great for girls
My daughter saw this book at Saks... they were selling it for $75!! So of course I said no. Thankfully my daughter took a picture and we looked it up on Amazon and found it here for just $17!!! What a deal and she loves it.

The Perfect Creative Gift
This journal is wonderful! First off, I bought it last night and have it less than 12 hours later, so that’s cool. The book itself is great quality and full of creative, fun prompts for the girls. I’m already trying to think of other girls in my family that I could buy it for. 100% recommend!

fun journal
My niece reads the short stories before bed so I got her the journal and she enjoys the writing prompts in this.

Fabulous Activity Book for Young Women
My nine-year-old daughter loves all the Rebel Girls books; she has a copy of each Good Night Stories and was thrilled to get the calendar for Christmas. I was wavering on spending $20 to purchase a journal, but the previous spiteful one-star review led me to go ahead and buy it, not only to support the creators, but also my own children's self confidence and creativity. My oldest daughter is really entertained and inspired by the different pages, the artwork, and the ways she's encouraged to think about herself and her place in the world. It's a fun and interactive way for her to journal. I will be sure to purchase another for my younger one once she's old enough to read and write.Anyone who is familiar with the Rebel Girls stories likely appreciates the stories and values their daughters' self-esteem and creative thinking. It's a shame someone would deface the book and then post a public and hateful comment about something meant to be inspiring and positive.Edited to add: the previous reviewer has apparently deleted their comment.

I do not like the title of this series
While these books get a lot of positive comments, I would not buy anything from this series for my granddaughters because I don't like the title - particularly as a former teacher. Why not something like "Confident Girls." I know that the women portrayed in these books swam against the tide, but "rebel" to me connotes something far different than confident and exceptional. Too many children these days are rebels and also think they know enough to start "revolutions" and try to do so beginning in the classroom where they perceive of their opinions as being equal to that of teachers and other adults with very little life experience.
