Fantastic product. Hubby agreed to buying it if I made at least one smoked dish per month. It was delivered April 23rd. Today is May 20th. Right now I’m smoking my 6th dish - a spatchcocked chicken. The packaging they do is brilliant, and putting it together (you’ve really gotta have a second person) was super easy. Clearly, the entire design was very well thought out - from the product itself to the packaging. Have been mulling over getting a pellet smoker (yes, I understand that stick smokers rule) for about a year and am so happy with this purchase. Absolutely recommend this smoker to anyone who wants to take the dive into smoking food. We’ve done ribs (both regular and Berkshire), whole skin on salmon, and now chicken. Love, love, love, my Traeger.

I wanted to try a pellet grill, I have had so many different smokers but never a pellet grill. I have to say this is amazing, great taste easy operation. Just fill the hopper with the pellets and let it do its thing, check the pellets every couple hrs and refill as necessary. Defiantly would recommend, it is built like a tank.

This is an awesome smoker. It is simple, works and holds a temp. Used it three times since I received it, and everything turned out as I wanted.

I got this for my husband for Father's Day and he was so excited and pleased with it! The detailed directions made it so easy to put together. We love this product!

Took about one hour to assemble and is well built. I have used it twice and no problems!

2022:Like many before me, our new Traeger needed a new motherboard because it NEVER once heated up to temperature correctly, needing to be "reset" many times over 3 or 4 hours to cook one item. Traeger support has loooooong wait times, to talk with someone who was not efficient with time. This was a christmas gift for someone who had wanted one for a long time, and I can't tell you how disappointed I am with the company. Sadly, this will be our last Traeger.2024:Having never successfully worked with their product support team (due to a combination of long wait times and ridiculous useless scripts), over the last couple of years we've tried several times to simply work around the problems we've had with the smoker. It is about 70° off of temp, takes up to 4 hours to get to the cooking temperature, and twice now the pellets have dispensed so fast that it caused flare-up wgich shut the entire operation down. We've continued to try to use this smoker in spite of its problems simply because the hassle of the returning it, the expense of buying a new one has so far overwhelmed our irritation with a shitty smoker. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back :-( it took me 2 years to write this review but I'm finally ready to post it and advise you to NOT buy this product, epecially off of Amazon since you have to work with Traeger's customer service agents who absolutely do not want you to return it to Amazon if you can even get a hold of them to have that conversation which took me a ridiculous number of hours waiting on hold and going through their scripted customer service BS, to finally accomplish. Plus a large product like this is difficult to return and not worth the hassle. Buy locally so you can return locally if you feel like you must have this Traeger product
