maybe all the bad reviews got their attention
I have had no issues with the knife, maybe all thebad reviews got their attention, and the issues weretaken care of.For one, my knife came with a working flash light, andit was not hard to figure out how it worked. The blade had a good edge to it, and a very sharp point. The knife does have a bit of weight to it, but that is whatmakes it a go to general purpose tool. The feature I like best is, the "assisted opening" feature, aeasy flick of the thumb, and your blade comes out with adistinctive, and scary sounding click, that will get someonesattention. My only complaint is, The SEAL TEAM 6 logo is on the blade, and will wear off. Can't be beat, for the price.

Made in China
I appreciate that most things are made in China, a gift from Congress to a country that sells and steals most of our product ideas BUT a Seal Team 6 knife made in china. Are you telling me that AMAZON couldn't find a manufacturer in the good ole USA. REALLY. If I had known, I would have passed it over in a heartbeat. It's cheap steel with a blue paint job. As a MC vet, shame on AMAZON for peddling a chinese trinket. Maybe Seal Team 6 will visit Jeff Bezos some cold, dark night and explain the need to sell more AMERICAN products. LOL

Legal Loop-Hole in CA
This is one of the eight knives that I keep in my survivalist go-bag kit in case of emergency and/or apocalypse scenarios. I was in the US Navy myself, so I keep it attached to my NWU tactical camelbak hydration system. This knife features a magnetic-assisted opening-mechanism that is actually faster and more reliable than a spring-assisted opening-mechanism. That being said, it also happens to be a legal loop-hole in some (but not all) American states. In California for example, carrying a knife is legal EXCEPT if it features a spring-assist. Magnets and springs are two different things.

I would love to cut and paste what they are telling me ...
If you can't just pull it open and expect it to stay open then it's trash! I ask not for a refund but another one and still am getting the run around! I would love to cut and paste what they are telling me I have to do to get it to work but I don't know if I can! Won't ever use them again. Looked nice but I'd like to also keep my fingers. Oh and also was told to flip it open every time but still when you look at how much is holding it open isn't for me.

Good GP pocket knife.
Decent knife for the money, need something that wouldnt be terribly missed if I lost it. The light is a little flaky but no issues. Going to buy another one without the light if something happens to this one. Could have done without the Seal Team logo, printed on the blade so it will wear off over time, the Navy logo and emblem are fine.

Great!
Awesome looking and seems to be very well built. I gave it 4 stars ONLY because it took me a while to get the LED light to work. I had to take the batteries out of it and remove them from a piece of a straw that was being used to keep them in place and was apparently keeping the batteries from making a strong connection. Other than a few technical difficulties on my end it is an awesome product and very well priced. I would recommend this item if you have an knife enthusiast in the family, makes a great addition to their collection.
