Zippy and performs as expected!
I purchased the Sony a6500 prior to buying this, and found that this card is the perfect solution for this camera and allows the a6500 to work at peak performance. This card is amazing. I love it. The capacity allows me to capture so much without having to swap cards. The card transfers fast to the pc when plugged directly in.

Fast writing so far and big size!!!
I received this card and tested it on my new Nikon D750 with Tamron F2.8 24-70mm. It works pretty good and fast (even in almost pitch black). To me the writing seems working better than my 128gb lexar. Have to test it further. However I have.missing item on Sandisk 128gb microsd Ultra. I received 256GB SD card but not the microsd. The sales was 39.99 but now gone back up to 54.99 + shipping. It says delivered but I don't see anything.

Huge capacity, fast write speeds, high quality brand
Huge capacity, fast write speeds, high quality brand. Its a perfect match for a high-speed action camera like my Canon 7D Mk II. Read speed is also fast but that's irrelevant for my use. I want write speeds that keep up with my 10fps capture speeds. I can wait a few minutes to upload the images to my computer. If I didn't need the write speed, I would buy a slower, cheaper SanDisk card. I also want a card with this capacity so that I can shoot all day without having to switch cards. Physically handling a card is the most dangerous part of a card's life. I've never had a SanDisk card fail in use, but I did lose a small card once when I had to change it in the middle of day-long shoot.

SDXC Flash as Boot disk for MacBook Pro.
Pleased by the performance. I use this as a secondary boot disk for a MacBook Pro rather than for photo storage. Not as fast as the internal SSD storage but is certainly much better than the older units and makes for aan excellent backup facility. Compared to the 512 GB Lexar Professional Workflow SSD, this is a dream. Lear does NOT support anything but photo use of their media - beware!

FAKE SD Card DO NOT purchase
I purchased this card to have a local backup on my laptop. After about 6 months the card stopped working. I run my own IT business so I tried the card in a different reader and it didn't work. I contacted SanDisk to warranty the product. After sending pictures to them they determined the card is a FAKE. THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL SanDisk card. I attempted to contact the seller and they never responded. I contacted Amazon and thankfully they stood behind the card. AGAIN SanDisk the supposed manufacturer is NOT SANDISK.

Highly recommended and reliable for ultra book pro pads and the like that come with limited memory.Yes, these were made for digital media - but they are much cheaper and flexible in use to add SD extension to the internal disk which is so limited and expensive. I change my machine every 2-3 years and this has my data, backup, install files and moves with me.Its your data so dont get the cheap ones - look for reliability in the reviewsThis is the one

Outstanding card
This card is lightning fast, great size. Using it in a Nikon D810 ~ AND ~ a Sony FDR AX53 camcorder with zero problems or hiccups. Both devices recognize the full capacity and it works flawlessly.
