This is my first MRP purchase on Amazon, not even a Rupee discount. Obviously there was a reason for me to buy this APC on MRP rather than waiting for looking somewhere outside. My previous V-Guard stabilizer was useless, it was not able to protect my amplifier, infact I can't really blame V Guard since it was not meant to handle 450W.My Amplifier is rated at 450 W and I was using 1.3 Amps V Guard. Infact the V Guard specification was confusing, it says one TV & Stereo and never mentioned the watts it can handle. Now this APC was very clear and easy to understand, its rated at 600W. Let me out the cons and pros of this APC stabilizer****************PROS****************1. Clear specification. This APC can handle appliances up to 600 W. Its mentioned clearly in the manual not to connect appliances rated more than 600W. Now I can connect my new amplifier and subwoofer to it.2. Got 3 sockets, so you can connect more appliances. Most of the stabilizers got only 2 sockets.3. No time delay and it got audible alarm to alert for power surge notification.4. No fuse, the switch turns off in case of a power surge. However you need to manually turn it on. This is infact better than having a fuse. Someone has mentioned this as drawback in one of the reviews.5. Good design and its sleek.*******CON'S*******1. Build quality could have been better. Even V Guard got better build quality, this unit is made in China.2. No discounts, I got this unit on MRP.3. Only 2 years warranty when competition gives upto 5 years.Overall a good buy, see if you can get some discounts.

The product claims it can support appliances upto 600W and that these appliances include Computers, *Refrigerators*, etc.A refrigerator above 300watts will have a 16A plug and the product doesn't have even one 16A outlet. It only has the usual 5A outlets and that too 3 of these.Secondly the build quality which I'd overlook if it just did what it says, they've cheaped out on the build. Like the other reviews claim the switches feel loose and the entire body is like 1 tin box.Bad experience...

I replaced Two Power Supply Units in a Month due to electrical fluctuations in my area due to rain. then i searched for the UPS but as i never faced any power loss issue in "Dadar" instead I went for this Voltage Stabilizer and after installing this, i didnt faced any PC component issue during the time for 3 months of use and hopefully it will save me in coming future.very good experience with the APC unit.

My Problem: Next to my house, there is a workshop, they does welding works. So my PC is to get unstable electricity, my 1000VA/600w UPS is to make electricity fluctuation alarm noise, i was worried coz my last UPS damaged due to this, So i is to shut down my PC (my PC has 550w SMPS, Nvidia Graphics Card 1050Ti) and is to work on my low end laptop. I was searching the solution for my problem. I wanted a Stabilizer for my UPS, so that whenever there is high fluctuation, it should cut off the power or stabilize it. So i bought a V-Guard Stabilizer, but that was not able to handle the load of my PC, it is to not control it during the welding sessions outside. Further, I saw this product, and it was written that 600watts load it can take, So i ordered this one. Today, they does their welding work, but for me there is no power fluctuation problem. I want to thank amazon, who made this item available and APC for making this product. Its a very best product from APC. Its my life saver. Thank you...my 5stars

Using this for the TV & sound bar.Went for this since this due to the following reasonsa) is a well known brand and they have published proper specifications.b) In addition to being a stabilizer, this unit also acts as a surge suppressor. (The only one in the domestic range)On time delivery, properly packed. One needs to register with APC for warranty.Can't comment on the effectiveness - I suppose for these things, we only realize when it doesn't work and damages equipment rather than when it has prevented equipment damage.
