saves water
These heads really do save a lot of water. my water bill has gone down by over 30%. It sprays at a slower rate so you need to increase the duration but the water then has a chance to soak in and not runoff. It also performs so much better in breezy conditions as there is not as much drift as a normal spray since the water droplets are larger and not not as fine. It fit in my old pop-up, just a simple head replacement. The only negative I have is that the head sticks out past the popup, its like a small dome so if you're not careful you can damage it when cutting grass, I managed to have one destroyed by my lawnmower. my old heads were flush with the popup body but these stickup a little.

Saves a ton of water
The MP Rotator series saves a TON of water, and are very easy to install if your sprinkler system if you currently have normal pop-up sprinkler heads. These use about 1/4 the water of the standard pop-up sprinkler heads that I replaced, but I have to run them twice as long, for a net savings of about 50%. Really worthwhile. When I started replacing sprinkler heads I didn't realize that there are a bunch of different types of MP Rotator - they come in 3 different throw distance ranges (and even though they are adjustable they really are only adjustable across the distance range they claim), and they come in versions that are adjustable from 45 to 105 degrees, 90 to 210 degrees, 210 to 270 degrees, and full circle. They also have specialty versions that do strips, corners, and that have double the flow rate. So think about what you need carefully and order the correct ones.

You need a base ,which is solid separately in order to put them on a riser.
This is the 2nd time I ordered these heads. I cut my watering time

Not impressed. You need to have a 7 ft wide strip for these to make sense
My pet peeve with these heads is that they overspray into the side walk quite a bit. Even with all the adjustments they drench the pavement which is way beyond the 5 ft mark. They use less water, but overspray more compared to my older fixed head nozzles, so the benefits are probably a wash.

Great Nozzles
These did the trick for my side strip. Replace standard spray nozzles and now get much better coverage with less watere wasted.
