Make Map Art: Creatively Illustrate Your World Novelty Book – Illustrated, February 18, 2014

This is not a book on map drawing as drawing or map tracing goes. It's more like a creativity book on mind mapping or event documenting in an artful way with blank pages to use. Slightly disappointed but it is still a fun book I will give as a gift to someone else.

His mother is thrilled! purchased this as a gift for a little boy who is fascinated with maps. His intention is to map out his own neighborhood and to identify where the street signs are missing. I thought this book would validate his love of having his world visually represented. I sneak peeked through the book and immediately found myself thinking about making my own maps. great for artists, families and adventurous little boys/girls. think this would be great project ideas for girl/boyscouts as well

Love this map art set. It includes a cool booklet with some fun and enlightening prompts to begin mapping yourself. Plenty of prompts to get you going and know how to do it on your own. There are a variety of map templates (a couple of each but you can copy them). 30 templates including pages of legends to fill in and cut out and icons to glue on your map. So much fun! Love this set.

This kit (not a book) helped give me ideas to create a a map (for wedding guests) that was folksy and personalized. My main complaint about it is that the cute paper that comes with it is slightly larger than a normal sized printer so you end up cutting off part of your work. The paper is bordered as well, and some of that gets cut off.

My 11 year old son is obsessed with maps and this book has a lot of very cool ideas and tools to make your own.

Disappointed in this product which is NOT A BOOK. Perhaps I didn't read the description closely enough, I'll have to go back and do that. Don't click so fast in the future!I thought it was a book on making maps. It is actually a THIN pamphlet of rather obvious suggestions about making personal maps accompanied by a pad of pre-printed designs that you can then make maps on. The designs aren't very interesting. I can't recommend this product to anyone.

This is such an amazing book & kit- chock full of fun for kids and grown-ups. It really encourages creativity- a great project for the family. I'll be buying more for gifts.

This was quite disappointing. Although the quality of materials is good, it is literally JUST A SMALL BOOKLET and a lot of blank pages. Was hoping for more book and inspiration. Nice idea but this product falls short of delivering.

Arrived better then described for a second hand book! I just love it.
