Nearly Natural Nasturtium Silk Artificial Hanging Basket Plant, 22in, Gold

I ordered a plain ivy hanging basket by this same manufacturer last week (same price) and I was disappointed because it was a bit thin. It needed way more leaves and filler. I took a chance and ordered this one, hoping that it would be better. It definitely is! You have to work with it and reshape/bend the leaves, as it comes crammed in a skinny box. Once you get it the way you want it appearance wise, it is ready to hang. Took me about 10 min. They were generous with the flowers and leaves on this one and it is such a nice, bright, and colorful addition to my little home office area. It also hangs directly above a mandala tapestry with some nice orange tones in it, so they compliment each other well. My ONLY complaint about this item is that it smells funky. Almost fishy. WHY?? I had to spray it with Febreze a few times to try to get the smell out of it. Hoping that will fade over time between the Febreze and the ceiling fan. Other than that, it is a beautiful hanging basket. The flowers look real and overall worth the price. I am rather picky when it comes to silk florals or plants because they are not cheap and should be full! I can definitely recommend this one.

I couldn't wait to hang this pretty and realistic arrangement on my balcony. Then, I sprayed it liberally with wasp and hornet spray; they flew right up to it and then they zoomed away! (I've been battling a wasp/hornet migration all summer and I'm highly allergic.) Plastic, silk, or real, they're attracted to the flower colors. I put this up yesterday, soaked it with pesticide, and when it dried, drenched it again. The colors didn't run or fade, so I'm sure they won't wash away with the rain. Of course, the sun will eventually fade them, as it will bleach anything, over time. However, I bought this in the yellow, because red items fade first (for example, red, pink, orange - which is red & yellow or purple - which is red and blue). This is a substantial silk arrangement, lightweight but with a nice, full look.

I bought 3 for my front porch (where I spend most of my time) and they received several compliments the very 1st day I hung them! Two passerby took pictures. My only concerns are the hanging twine is cheap (a twine detached from one basket the 1st day) and, they're way too light (weight-wise) for even moderately windy days. I'm certain the constant swaying will result in more of the twine detaching from the basket. I've considered adding weight to alleviate so much swaying but I'm confident the twine won't hold. The aforementioned notwithstanding, I'm quite satisfied with this purchase.Tony

I ordered this plant not sure if I was going to like it. I had changed the colors in my living room and needed something to brighten up my new chocolate brown furniture. When I took it out of the box, I immediately fell in love with the gorgeous yellow orange blossoms. They are exactly what I needed to match a picture above my couch . It definitely is a good addition to my new color scheme.

REPLACEMENT: exact plant....the other lasted 4 years!....Through rain, WIND, sun (then it changed color-age 3 1/2...UNBELIEVEABLE! LOVE, LOVE!FIRST PLANT:This has been hanging on the patio....although it is artificial, which I had to purchase-it rains and the air conditioner is there so a REAL plant could not tolerate any of that. NONE of the flowers, leaves have fallen off and it swings high and in spinning circular motion constantly. It STAY INTACT....I did put it is a heavier larger basket otherwise it would have spinned off the balcony....it looks real and is beautiful.

Second time purchasing these. We purchased these same flowers in another color about a year and a half ago and they faded. Unfortunately I do not do well with real flowers so artificial is the way for us to go. This is a large hanging plant. Several people have mentioned that they have a problem with the plants are tilting to the side. I had this with my original plans. This time I secured them with plastic ties prior to hanging them up. This seems to of done the trick. With the last plants we attempted to secure them after They had already tilted and were never able to get them to stay even. Having done it before hanging them up this time they seem to be holding up well

After having many hanging plants wilt/die on the front porch in the heat of the summer when we were away for a weekend - I decided to look for a realistic looking artificial hanging plant. I saw this plant on Amazon with good reviews and it wasn't too expensive. Plus I was looking for complementary colors for the cream colored siding on the house. Upon opening the package I am very pleased. This plant is perfect! The flowers are yellow/orange - it is lush and full - and the leaves look real. Will be less mess and bother of watering and sweeping and will keep the porch area clean but still looking good.

I have an area on my porch that I can not keep a hanging plant looking nice all summer. So I thought I would try a fake one for that area. It looks very nice and I look forward to not having to water it all summer. Most of these hanging baskets are expensive, but I felt this was not much more than a real hanging plant and hopefully I will have it for more than one summer.
