Love the art of this beautiful set. Very sturdy & wish they had more available to buy for my parents! Requesting a darker blue if possible too.

Beautiful but terminal flaw
This is some of the most beautiful stoneware I've seen. (My opinion.) I ordered one bowl to see what it looked like in person. Wasn't disappointed with the looks. Then I looked closer. All around the outside edge/rim were tiny fine cracks in the glazing. I checked the inside of the bowl and saw no cracks. But the outside had many, many, many cracks all along the rim. Fine cracks that were not noticeable at first. I rubbed my hand over the bowl and felt no flaw so I have to ASSUME the cracks are in the glazing and not the bowl itself. Again, nothing seen inside he bowl rim. I cannot in good conscience buy a whole set at over $100 for a 5-piece place setting for a service for 1. I think just the bowl was $20+. I am very discouraged and saddened by this lack of quality in Portugal based dinnerware. I REALLY wanted this dinnerware... If I could stand the cracks I might consider the bowls to go with my peach marble china. The contrast is unique and quite eye catching. But...

Very fragile
This stoneware is very fragile and breaks and chips easily. I had my wedding Villeroy & Boch dishware for 17 years and bought this as my replacement and many of the pieces have chipped or broken within the first year of use. I am disappointed about the durablity. It is beautiful though.
