I needed it for a commercial door but it was the wrong size so I ended up returning it. It seemed like very good quality but the instructions were not very good and it would have taken awhile to install it.They don’t do a very good job helping you figure out what size you need in the description.

I installed 2 of these at my office. They are attached to pretty heavy wooden doors and they work well to allow the door to slowly close without slamming. The instructions are a bit simplistic but after some trial and error they were attached.If you need something really industrial grade, these may not work. After some setting and configuration of the closer, we got it working as we wanted.

wish i had noticed it was not on a pivot connector on the attachment for the frame. This limited to range of how far the door can open.

The media could not be loaded.  Item was easy to install once pilot holes werr in. Includes sturdy screws. Works great with business front door. The door had an air curtain and would always run because the door wouldn’t fully close, thus wasting electricity. Now the door fully closes and the air curtain turns off completely.

Looks stylish and has a lot of force! Perfect for any residential front door with brass hardware! My only critique is that the directions might be a bit tricky to follow for someone who's not very handy. I had it installed in about 10 minutes though.

Stay away from this device! After three open / closes, black hydraulic oil suddenly shot out of the side , onto my wall and door. See photo. Messy cleanup and now I have six unsightly holes in my door.Right back to Amazon it goes, and next time I buy American.Other points to note:-Instructions are a photocopy of a fax. Not easy to decipher.-No drilling template provided like other brands. Makes it very hard to hold the device, a level, and a pencil for marking the drill holes at the same time (unless you have three arms).-Screws are inadequate in length to get solid grip on door frame.

I bought 2 for my outside opening doors since description was medium duty. Bought 6 fro inside doors of different brand 25$ cheaper and they are much better

Great replacement door closer for my defective one. The mounting holes were off by only an 1/8th of inch. Colour match was good. Functions well. Fast delivery.

The closer was easy to install however it would have been nice if it came with a template.
