At first, I was thrilled with the Gorilla Kids Disappearing Purple Glue Sticks. I mean, what's not to love? They're purple, they disappear, and they're made by gorillas! It's like the trifecta of awesome.But then, disaster struck. I was helping my little cousin with a school project when I realized that the glue stick had disappeared a little too well. I mean, I could see the glue on the paper, but the glue stick itself was nowhere to be found.I frantically searched through the pile of papers, looking for the elusive purple glue stick. But it was gone. Just like that, my faith in the disappearing powers of the Gorilla Kids Disappearing Purple Glue Sticks was shattered.To make matters worse, my little cousin started crying when she realized that her project was ruined. I tried to console her, but how do you explain to a six-year-old that the glue stick just vanished into thin air?So, while I appreciate the novelty of the disappearing purple glue, I have to say that the disappearance is a little too literal for my taste. If you're looking for a reliable glue stick that won't disappear on you (or your little cousin), you might want to look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a good laugh (or cry), then the Gorilla Kids Disappearing Purple Glue Sticks are definitely worth a try. Just be prepared for the disappearing act to take on a life of its own.

Works perfectly with every item I put in the scrapbook whether it’s pictures, fabric, paper, plastic, anything. I wish they came in bigger sizes because I go through them so quick

Gorilla glue is so sticky that children use it to make CARDS and crafts.It made them so happy that they completely neglected to break the toy. I think the glue was very effective.I try to use them to paste books that have been broken by children. They are very useful and I would recommend them to my neighbors and friends. They also have to deal with books that have been broken by children from time to time.

These purple sticks are great for kids. Contrary to the Gorilla Glue brand, it doesn't strike me as a super glue--you won't have random things glued together around the house. They also dry pretty quickly.However, they don't seem to glide across paper very well. They are a tad dry for a glue stick. It's mostly personal preference, though--not a huge reflection of the product's quality.

Everything I glued came off the next day.

Used this glue on a card I made for my dad. It seemed to adhere well & was soooo easy to use. I'd buy again if I needed to, but it will last for a long time.

So I have a 2 ¹/2 yr old and we were doing Halloween projects with construction paper and these glue sticks. And I started to smell something really yucky, and I checked my daughter and it wasn't her, then I realized that it was the glue stick that smelled like poop.

Not sticky at all. Expected better from gorilla glue. Dries immediately, no time to even apply what you're gluing. Bought thinking it would be better than Elmer's or dollar store glue. Will not purchase again.

Great for kids. I’ve used it too to repair some ornament jewels and glue works fast.

This is the worst glue I've ever used.With the name Gorilla and the high price, I thought it would be great for my work with crafts.The description said that, and I figured that was right.NO.Nada.Don't bother.
