SKIL 2354-08 Pink iXO 4V Max Lithium-Ion Palm-Sized Cordless Screwdriver

Decent power for a cordless. The shape and trigger position is very ergonomic - doesn't impact the wrist as much as other designs. ONE CAVEAT: I almost sent it back after leaving it on the charger overnight because it wouldn't run in either forward or reverse; the green "charging" light had gone out, as it's supposed to, but the dang thing acted dead as a doornail. Until I unplugged it from the micro-USB cord, lol. So just be aware that it won't run while plugged in. The five driver bits that come with it offer a good basic selection. The magnet inside the bit shaft is quite strong - holds them snugly and well. I also bought this Black & Decker 71-912 Drill and Screw Bit Set, 45-Piece to use with it for more versatility. As a 4-volt cordless, not sure it will have enough power to really make use of the drill bits in that set, but I expect it will work fine for starter holes in wallboard, which is what I would primarily use it for. For what it's worth, I would prefer it a color other than pink, and it does come in red/black - but I've been getting messages saying that certain items "can't be shipped to my address" (for no valid reason), and the red Skil was one of them. The nice lady at Amazon Customer Service helped me find this one, which my shopping cart did not reject, AND she credited me back the $3 extra I had to pay for pink. (Also FWIW, if you search for "The Original Pink Box," you will find TONS of tool-related stuff in pink, if you're into that sort of thing - from soft-sided tool kits to four-drawer rolling tool boxes, and actual tools, as well.)

I am 76 years old. The drawer in my china cabinet broke. The track had come loose in the back of the cabinet. I couldn't handle a heavy automatic screwdriver and didn't have room to fit it around the drawer that I couldn't get out. I bought this little screwdriver and was able to repair the track and it's in working order again. This inspired me to buy a few other pink tools and a toolbox also. My husband has tools but they are all over the place and too heavy for me to use. I will keep mine in my closet now and know where they are and be able to handle them. How I got down to repair the track and back up is another story and a funny one but I won't tell it here.

This is the second one I have owned. I lost my charge cord when I moved. I had my old one for 4 years and had a different charging system. There was nothing wrong with it, I just couldn't charge it. So I bought a new one.It works for all of my household needs. it stays charged for months. The light is great to see with. comfortable and lightweight, fits great in you hand. I bought small drill attachments for pre-drill holes for harder drilling.

My mom LOVES this thing. I bought one for myself (the Black/Red one) and thought if it was good enough for what little I use it for them my mom would love it.It has a lithium-ion battery which I know will last my mom forever so what was a huge thing for me. She wanted her own tool set and since she's getting older and it's getting harder for her to turn a screw driver this is the perfect thing for her to use. Plus it has a micro-usb charging cable so almost everyone has one of those lying around from their phones.

I like this little screwdriver. It seems to work perfectly for screwdriver replacement thus far. The only thing I wish it did do that it doesn't is allow for a size in piece you are inserting into the hole. The hole on the screwdriver is "fixed", so you cannot adjust it to allow for putting anything other in it except the one size (which of course, comes with it, and which is the same size as most screwdriver bits). I, however, was hoping to also use it with a brush I bought on here to wash the tub out with; however, the brush is a tad larger, and thus, will not fit in the hole. Too bad for that part for me, but I still like it. It is lightweight and easy to use.

It works. The forward / reverse switch is easy accidentally hit and hold up things for a brief bit to make it right. The motor is not quite as strong as I expected based on other Skil purchases I have made.

I bought one of these for my wife about 2 years ago (2017). We introduced it to our granddaughter who has some robotics courses, and she just loved it. It was a bit difficult to find, but find it we did and purchased another for our young lady. It is a great small tool to use around the house, has good battery life, and decent torque. Good product, fair price.

Definitely lightweight but, also lightweight in power. This was for me a bad but. Wish I could find a drill that is lightweight but powerful enough to get things done around the house without calling a handyman. I am a senior and that is the reason I bought this for the weight and it did not live up to the power advertised. For example I was installing a keyless entry for my garage and wouldn't go through wood. When I resorted to a manual screw driver I could do it.
