36" Inch Maxwell Comercial Air Curtain Sleek & Heavy Duty Design 115 Volt MASF036-N1

I looked for months for an air curtain that wasn't "INDUSTRIAL", I wanted one for my residence, over the garage door, so in the summer I could leave the door to the house open and keep the skeeters out, but without it blowing your head off as you passed through the wind current. This has two settings and the lower one is almost perfect, still a bit strong for the girls with their hair all purtied up, but there are going to be no skeeters in my house. I did not use the door switch, as I only want this on when it's time for bugs. The mount is very functional and very easy to install. I mounted this over a 32" garage to house door, with an 8ft ceiling.... fits perfect. I haven't used it much yet, as it's still winter but the trial run seems great.

This unit works great. Does not include wiring for door switch, just switch. I had to pull it back down because the low speed didnt work. Found a wire loose and fixed the problem. May have came off during shipment.

Mainly hate Heat and Cool. The instructions were clearly written by someone who speaks little English and there are no instructions for connecting the included auto switch. This auto switch was the reason I chose this unit over others, but it's completely unusable. Contacted Heat and Cool and they didn't respond to first two requests. The third email was answered rudely by James Norman their Service/Warranty Manager telling me to go to their website. No information is on their website. This product may be good, but buy elsewhere. Heat and Cool sucks!!!

Remote switch is not designed for in swinging doors, and in order to get this to work properly you will need to spend an additional $65.00 for the proper switch. Additionally, there is no handheld remote control.

Purchased this air curtain for a exterior door that often gets left open letting in flies, mosquitoes, etc and letting out the cool air. Unit installed in less than 10-minutes. Instruction manual was a little confusing because it was OBVIOUSLY written by somebody with English as a second language. Installation is pretty simple: mount the wall bracket with 3 lag screws into the header over the door, hang the unit on the bracket, install three screws which hold the unit to the bracket, plug it in, and your done. While there is some noise associated with the fan, it isn't so loud as to be a nuisance. Does a very affective job at keeping out insects while keeping in the air conditioning. Unit comes with a plunger switch to activate the fan when the door is opened and turn off the fan when the door is closed. Did not install the plunger switch so I can't make any comments regarding the switch.

So far so good. We live in the country and flies are a major issue. My complaint is with the manual which is written very poorly and not at all complete. On installing the switch I was able to get the information I needed from another source. ([...]) and did receive additional information from the company I purchased it from (via Amazon). [...]l. I plan on NOT cutting the cord to install the switch but actually using an extension cord that I will cut for this purpose. But if the switch is not needed, simply plug it in after hanging it up of course.

Doesn't blow as hard like u would think for what u pay for!!!
