Karman Luxury Lightweight 4-Wheeled Knee Walker with Basket in Burgundy

I loved my Karman Knee Walker. When I had my bunion surgery it was suggested that I try a knee scooter to get around on instead of the usual crutches. This scooter was very easy to put together and adjust for my height and comfort level. I bought a heavy duty scooter to start with to accommodate my larger size. I was not disappointed. It works best on non carpeted areas, but I'm not a speed demon, so I could go at my own pace with my own care in mind. I'm planning on having bunion surgery on my other foot next winter and I'll feel all set to get to appointments or just out for lunch with a friend.

I purchase this and used this for 6 wks. then a friend at work borrowed and used it for 3 mos. This is the most wonderful piece of equipment if you want to be mobile. it is quite durable and holds up to travel on streets, sidewalks, getting off/on curbs. I and the friend I let use it for 3 mos. love it. the handle bars and knee bench are adjustable. if you get tired you can sit on the knee bench. SO OH AWESOME FOR MOBILITY.

The knee walker has been a life-saver! I developed abrasions on my hands having to use the crutches handles. I was ordered non-weight-bearing status. I felt really insecure on crutches, so I lickety-split ordered the Roscoe knee scooter online. It arrived in three days and was very easy to put together. I feel safe on this sturdy walker and have used it outside,though care must be taken going on rough or crackedpavement/surfaces (avoid if possible).

I have been on this scooter for seven weeks so far and would have lost my mind if I were confined to a wheelchair. It is much more maneuverable and convenient (and speedy, lol!) I would recommend buying the sheepskin cover to go with it because it makes it much softer and easier on your leg.Only downside is that it has a really large turning ratio but it is so light I just pick up the back end and move it.

I received the Karman scooter the other day and have been practicing with it so I can take it to work and get around the office better. Putting it together was easy, it feels solid and works quite well so far. My foot surgeon recommended a knee scooter and this one is way less costly than renting one because ill need it again when my other foot is operated on.The only reason I give this 4 stars is because the front pole is a bit wobbly. We've checked it over and over again, but cannot figure out how to stabilize it better. However, I like the weight of the scooter as it feels solid under me while I'm scooting around.

Crutches were not an option for me. I wouldn't have survived recovering major foot surgery without this! Been using for three weeks and it's made well. It's a little hard to manage getting in and out of some vehicles but positives outweigh any negatives by a long shot.

Like the shape of the cushion, although I made myself a 1' foam covered with artificial sheepskin cover to make it softer. Like thebasket - very handy! Like the disc brake/lock - works well. It's a little heavier than the one I rented for a month. Don't like the latch to put thehandle up and down as much as the one I rented, but it's OK. Price is reasonable. Not as good turn radius as the one I rented, but I gotused to it - quite a bit of back and forth or just plain picking it up to turn it around.

Just got it a few minutes ago. No instructions on how to assemble but not a problem to do so. Very straight forward. Looks like a very well product. I know I ordered the burgundy one and received the black one which is ok to me. I'll update on how it holds up. Similar scooters in my area go for more than $400 and would take more than a week to get.Update: My daughter has really enjoyed the product. It's very well made easy to use. It's a little heavy for her to pick up. She used it when we went to the store and could really zoom around. I highly recommend.
