My grandson is a nut job about these little trains. He has dozens and this one was as loved as every other Thomas and Friends trains he has received. Which is a lot. So far it has held up well and quality is no issue. I'm constantly looking for "the next" train to get.

Well-built addition to our Trackmaster collection
Although Stepney isn't one of the most popular engines, I really like this Trackmaster model. Stepney is well-built and has a bigger caboose than some other Trackmaster trains. He is a tank engine and therefore looks different from the other steam engines in the line. Adds character to our growing collection!

Good train.
Like the Victor Engine, I purchased Stepney and had to send her (the train) back to Amazon. The first time I opened it, all of the bearings fell out. The second one works very well, and I didn't have any problems inserting the battery. She is quite fast.
