Works as expected
Used with an old ddrum 4SE. Works as expected. Used it with a TS cable, as original TRS cable was... chintzy and too short. TS cable (standard instrument cable) worked perfectly, as the 4SE is a "mono" (TS) jack. Used with standard mount on my 3rd rack tom (14"), and didn't have a chance to try the other mount that is included.

Not perfect, but it works for me!
It took a bit of calibrating, and the zones aren't perfect, but if your hits are accurate, it sounds good! I use this for cross stick on my e-kit and it works well enough. Overall happy with this purchase.

Excellent feel
This thing does what it says. I'm using it with a Roland TD9 module. I like that the little book that comes with it tells you the exact settings for each module so you don't get crosstalk, etc. The best thing about it is the playing feel. Well designed, and built.

Great addition to kit!
Perfect for tight spaces and accent use. Very sturdy mount as well. Only reason I give 4 stars is it is new...not sure how durable it is...yet!

Better alternatives out there
Better alternatives out there had issues with mounting. Looks very ugly on the kit. Update!! bought something more compact half the cost. rimriser trigger for 40.00!!
