SSV Works Universal Weatherproof Bluetooth Media Controller

Power on is very loud and obnoxious. Does not automatically pair when turned on. I am actually going to a different set up. If you must have the use of Blu tooth then look into the fosgate or JBl Blu tooth components.

Very glitchy, works great if you turn it on and leave it in but if you have to shut it off and turn it back on it doesn't seem to want to work. Also doesn't turn off when you hold the power button down sometimes.

The is was an easy install however the way the wires run together you get noise in the speakers. This unit is supposed to turn on the amp but I cloud not get my Rockford Fosgate punch PBR300x2 to turn on. Contacted SSV Works and they sent me an adaptor that ups the voltage to turn the amp on and they sent this to me free of charge.

Bought this Bluetooth controller so I didn't have to buy a head unit on SSV's website and overall im pretty happy with the quality of it! The remote wire for the amp is a very nice feature so I could get rid of the cheesy toggle switch to turn my amp on and off. I haven't seen how it does with water yet I haven't had to wash my RZR yet since I installed it, but I don't have any doubt that itll stand up to some water spray. The sound quality that is produced with this unit is very good, much better then the 3.5mm to RCA adapter that I was using from my phone directly to the amp. Very nice that I can but my phone in the glove box and not worry about it getting wet or muddy at all. As far as range goes I can get about 100ft away before it starts to cut out, which is more then I will ever need. The only complaints I have are 1) the tone for when your phone connects and disconnects is very annoying and wish there would be a little bit more pleasant of a tone, 2) for some reason this thing seems to draw a lot of power, I was able to get a couple hours of listening when my RZR isn't running before, and now im lucky to get a half hour to 45 minutes, everything is hooked up correctly, not sure why it seems to draw so much power. Overall I would give this unit a 9/10.
