I have a 1-year-old golden retriever female. I have been using puppy shampoo although I have not been satisfied with how it cleans or lathers. I am now using the Wahl product and am very satisfied about usage and results. The shampoo lathers easily and well, so I use far less product than the puppy shampoo and bathing goes much more quickly. The shampoo also washes off easily and results in a very nice, soft fluffy coat on my golden retriever. The odor of the shampoo is light and unobtrusive. Very important, also, is that there has been no skin irritation, scratching or sign of hot spots. I am very pleased.

I’m not one to write reviews, as a matter of fact, this may very well be perhaps the first review I’ve written about anything. I would like to emphasize how much my two Dalmatians seem to have enjoyed their new shampoo. I believe the scent is refreshing and has left my puppies’ fur feeling silky soft. Only time will tell if this shampoo will help with their scratching, but I would say it probably will. Definitely the only shampoo I will purchase for my pups from here on out.

I was really looking forward to trying this shampoo, especially since I love anything coconut-scented. Unfortunately, the lime verbena completely overpowers the coconut, and the fragrance is just too strong for my liking. I was also hoping it would help with fleas in addition to being gentle on sensitive skin, but it doesn’t mention anything about flea control. That said, the shampoo comes in a much larger bottle than I expected and a little goes a long way—it's very concentrated and lathers really well. It left my dog’s coat super soft and definitely seemed to soothe her sensitive skin. Overall, it’s a great value for the price and works well, but I just wish the scent was more balanced and subtle.

Amazing product. We have a King Charles Cavalier and this made his coat like silk and just beautiful. Smells great Will definitely keep buying when its out

This shampoo is the best for my pup’s fur. She’s a rough coat border collie that loves to roll in smelly ranch stuff so I need a shampoo that can handle it. This shampoo makes her fur so soft and shiny that a lot of the icky stuff she finds to roll around in seems to brush right out once it’s dried. The smell amazingly lasts for at least a week which is all for my benefit when she wants cuddles and kisses. Of all the shampoos I’ve tried on her Wahl’s are the best.

I have two Frenchies that only drink bottle water and this shampoo works great for them no irritation and they smell good but still I try to avoid there eyes 8 months and no complaints.

It got the job done quickly. If your pup has dried skin or just stinks, this goes on thick and rinsed off quickly. Lathers up into a thick foam and spreads out just fine. Instructions are clear and easy - Lather rinse and if needed a little more will do the trick. I would buy this again after trying many shampoo brands over the many years (12) . Priced right and works very well. I noticed the small patch of dry skin on Her back seems to be gone after 2 shampoos over 3 weeks. So I'll be using this from now on. She has a very short fur coat so I don't know much about how it would work on long hair pups.
