cute product, just a little messy of a paint job. but i still love it
I love this little nightlight, it is the perfect addition to our jungle themed nursery. I opted for this one since it has an on and off switch, because our house is dark with the curtains closed and I find that the might lights with sensors are pretty much always on. I have to unplug them in the morning and just plug them back in every night. Unless of course I want the nightlights on all day long, every day. The night light is very cute, I would've given it 5 stars except that it arrived with a dark blue drop of paint on the elephants face, which obviously isn't supposed to be there. I tried scratching it off and some of it did come up, but its still there and very visible. Looks like they splattered a bit when painting the eyes or creases. I don't want to go thru the hassle of an exchange for a drop of paint so I kept it.

I love that the cover comes off
I love that the cover comes off. However, when plugged in, the cover is a little too heavy for the wall and leans down causing it to stay on all day (has a sensor to know when it is dark n cover gets in the way so it thinks it's always dark)

Buy only for cuteness, don't expect super functionality
This is an okay night light, it is kind of cute but not too great functionally. If you want it for the cuteness, it isn't too expensive (less than $15) and you'll probably like it. However, don't buy this and expect it to be a good source of sole lighting at night for checking on your baby.1. The monkey is painted on a very dense/heavy piece of material that is glued to the green square backing on three pegs. I returned the first one because the pegs sheared off in shipping. The replacement I received has two out of three pegs loose but I have it plugged in and just hope it stays intact. I am debating on whether to return it again. Because the material is so dense, the light it puts out is pretty dim.2. The actual night light portion has a light sensor so the light doesn't stay on in the daytime. However, the sensor is very weak and doesn't sense the light as quickly as the plain ones you find in department stores...probably partially because the cuteness hangs over the sensor a little.

Great nightlight for a little girl who's scared of a dark room
We bought this for my daughter when she moved out of the room she shared with her baby brother and into her "big girl" room. We had purchased other nightlights (LEDs) which didn't light up anything. She didn't want to be in a dark room by herself. This gives off an appropriate amount of light, and in no way keeps her awake by its' brightness, like I've read in other reviews. It also lights her room enough so that she can see what she's doing when she climbs out of bed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I will say that there is a very small amount of space between the flower decoration and the little switch beneath it, so if you have other things plugged into the plug below it, it may be slightly hard to turn on (but not impossible, just a little bit of a tight squeeze).Overall though, it's cute, bright enough to make her feel secure and it does just what we need it to do. I'm happy with the purchase.

Like a lamp
It's really cute but very very bright! It's great for right now since the baby doesn't sleep in his room yet. I wanted something that was bright enough to see when changing diapers - this was definitely it. But when he is in there at night I will have to figure something out. A bulb change would probably do it.

Good Picture, Dodgy Product
My wife and I ordered this for my son's nursery. We ended up being rather disappointed. For what it was, the light part did what it was supposed to. The light sensor did its job, so I can't complain about that. But the problem with this (and it's the biggest problem) is the actual cover. It's a heavy stone cover, and the only thing that actually secures it to the light is a thin wire, which snaps around the light. The cover itself weighs about three or four times as much as the light itself, and the support does a poor job of actually holding it to the light. The most common occurrence would be that the cover fell off. But occasionally it would pull the whole light out of the wall socket. Not really a good design, but for what it was, I can't rate it any lower. That being said, packaging was also another issue, but a minor gripe. The box was bent up on arrival, and there were minor scratches on the cover itself. Yet the Amazon box was perfectly fine. Overall, not really worth the time due to the design.

Makes a nice gift
Got this for my friend's baby shower gift. Made this into a basket with blanket, lamp, book and stuffy. I think a cd of lullabies too.

Just okay
The paint is cheaply done on this light. Also not very bright

Waste of money
Basically a paper clip holding the elephant facing onto the light. Waste of money. And the light doesnโt even shine through the elephant.
