Nine West Women's Sharina Platform Dress Sandal

I purchased the "Sharina" in Pink IP Beach (PNKMU FB F FB) and Green IP Beach (GREMU FB F FB) in 8½M. I normally take a 9M, but took a risk on the 8½ because it's an open toe shoe and 9M was unavailable in both colors. I've walked around the house in them, and as with the Quinty, I love the just-right heel height...which on a size 8½M is 2¼" from the outsole to the top piece/heel cap, along the breast of the heel.The toe box is comfy, the topline at throat doesn't cut into my foot, and the vamp doesn't pinch or chafe my little toe...which is saying something, considering I went down a half size from my usual *and* I tried them on at the end of the day. The shoe is nicely lined, the heel strap doesn't chafe, and the seat is comfortable. The seat is a particularly big deal for me, because I have sustained two severe fractures to my left foot & ankle. If the angle at which the heel attaches to the shoe is wrong, I'm miserable...no matter what the heel height. The insole is nicely lined and well padded for a dress shoe that is not a "comfort" dress shoe. The outsole has a nice grip for a dress shoe, and the platform is just enough to conform to the platform trend but not too much. Until this point, I had avoided the platform trend because I find them very weird to walk in.The pink combo looks sweet with my solid-color red and solid-color citrus yellow dresses, and the green combo looks just as sweet with the same citrus yellow dress and my solid-color Navy blue dress. As with the Quinty, I will definitely be watching the sales to pick up more of these in different colors. My boyfriend said they're a nice addition to my wardrobe, and really likes the color block platform.

I was hesitant about ordering peep toe pumps online because I've tried on so many pairs in the past where the toe opening has been awkward. However, these are perfect! The inside of the shoe is very soft and even standing for long periods of time in the heat was not uncomfortable in the least. The front platform is the perfect height to make it feel like you aren't even wearing heels. These are definitely my new favorite shoes!Update: I'm taking away one star because the strap came apart on one of the shoes within two weeks of wearing them. Luckily I was still able to exchange them but now it's starting to happen again. And I even loosened the straps to the last hole in hopes of not stretching them out too much, and doing that makes the straps flop down under my heel constantly so I'm really distraught that the strap is coming apart once again. I'm going to take them to a shoe repair place in hopes that they can fix them permanently- although it seems silly to have to do that after less than 3 months of wear. They are still incredibly comfortable and as long as I can fix the strap issues, I won't regret purchasing them

I was so excited to find wide-width open-toe pumps, since I was looking for basic comfortable black sandal/open-toed pumps to wear to work every day. However, these were quite disappointing.Firstly, the sides of the shoes don't come up high enough, even on the wide-width shoe. My feet are only slightly wide and I can usually get away with medium-width shoes, but these made my feet look monstrous because they sides were folding down under my feet.Second, the platforms are shaped in a weird angle as if they were meant for a higher heel, so they're not flush to the floor unless I'm leaning forward. They take a while to get used to.The heel is smaller and comfortable, but I have 4-5 inch heels that fit and feel more comfortable than these. They are definitely going back.

The shoes are nicely made, but they are not comfortable for wearing long periods. My wife tried these on and took a walk to the store (about a mile away). That's how she breaks in shoes. She got almost all the way there before she had to take them off and walk barefoot, because the front strap was digging into her toes. I believe that it's a bit too low cut, and if the toe strap was a little wider, it wouldn't cut into her big toe joint. It may be more comfortable in hose, though she has yet to try it. The strap on the back did rub her skin raw as it was moving up and down as she walked.My advice is, it's probably okay for when you are wearing hose, or those hose-like socks, but only for short periods where you do not plan on doing a lot of walking.

LOVE,LOVE, LOVE these heels. I bought the same pair several years ago and I noticed they were getting scuffed this summer when it wore them to a wedding. I love them so much I ordered another pair so I would have another on hand in case they stopped making this model. I can wear theses all day long. I have even worn them teaching, walking up and down halls, moving around all day because I had an event right after school. No problem. I did order a half size up and the fit is perfect. I showed them to my sister and she got a pair in another color for the same wedding She loved hers. My sister in-law also got a pair. I ordered a second pair in beige to have a go-to summer pair of heels. You can't go wrong for style, fit and COMFORT!

I bought these shoes elsewhere first, and was heartbroken when the piece of elastic broke. So I looked online for the same Nine West shoe and happily I found them! These shoes have a platform under the ball of the foot which enables you to balance, even though the heels are several inches high. So you don't feel like you are teetering on high heels. They are actually VERY comfortable to wear and walk in. I loved them so much I bought another pair in white. The only reason I don't give these 5 stars is that the elastic (which broke on my other pair) doesn't seem like it will last a long time. Maybe they could redesign it differently so it doesn't look so precarious.
