This game is extremely fun, and this version is fantastic
This game is extremely fun, and this version is fantastic! On its own, this game will play through very quickly, so I would recommend mixing in another expansion or the starter deck. Nonetheless, the addition of heroes makes the game extremely interesting!

Another really good expansion!
This Expansion is a great pairing with Realms Unraveled and a solo expansion game. the Rally is something quite unique, as well as the champions. I highly recommend this expansion.

Great new champion mechanic
Great new champion mechanic, but a bit unbalanced for solo play - would be much better playing with Realms Unraveled I think.

I can never get enough ascension! The new mechanics (heroes, double-sided cards, etc) are all great! Even the board looks cool. Get it.

Easily the worst version of Ascension
Easily the worst version of Ascension. The rally mechanic literally removes any skill or strategy from the game. Heroes are poorly implemented. Shelve this mess for Storm or Souls.

The new rally mechanic sucks the fun out of the game.
The rally mechanic is just too much. No one I've played this with has had fun with it, even on their own turns. We followed some suggestions online and left the commanders out, but it didn't make the game much better. I'll stick with previous versions of Ascension for now.
