Designed for outsprinting city traffic and racing on the velodrome, the Raleigh Teaba is a single speed steel bike for track bike enthusiasts. The Teaba boasts Satori Cowboy bullhorn pursuit bars, removable brakes and cable guides, toe clips, and a flip-flop rear wheel, which can be run as a fixed gear or freehub, so you can set it up for track racing. For riding around town, the Teaba comes with an extra set of riser bar, brake levers, and grips. Created in collaboration with Olympic cycling medalist Nelson Vails and his best friend, the graffiti artist Zephyr, the Teaba features understated graphics referencing Nelson’s early days as a bike messenger in New York City.

I love this bike! (but it suits me)
Got this bike because I have been looking for a nice single speed road bike with the option to ride fixed gear. I live in an area that is very flat and have found that I don't need a huge range of gears for most of the road riding that I do. I have a SS mountain bike that changed my riding style forever, but as much as I loved it, it just wasn't made for the street. This bike is FAST, I am only limited by how fast my legs can move. The shipping was great, bike arrived in perfect condition, and included some allen wrenches and a 15 mm pedal and wheel-nut wrench. I choose to go with the bullhorn bars that were already set up on the bike (I love these!), but it does come with a flat bar so you can have your choice. For my first long ride I went about 30 miles and I made some adjustments along the way until I had her dialed in, I am very comfortable with the bike as it is now. There is maybe one problem with this bike and that is that it is a track bike at heart and as such is for a very niche market. If you desire speed, quality, high end materials, and a pretty cool paint job for zippy trips around town or even the occasional longer excursion AND you live in an area without hills, this is the bike for you. I even liked this bike so much I got one for my wife. Because of her smaller size, I replaced the 48 tooth chaining with a 44 (and a gold KMC chain that looks great with the overall scheme of the bike.) to give her a ratio that would feel to her as it did to me. She did not care for the brakes at the end of the bullhorn bars and preferred the brakes on the flat bar so I swapped them out and added some carbon fiber bar ends. She already has clipless shoes so I replaced the pedals with dual sided clipless and got her dialed in on the bike as well. We love to ride on our Teabas!

It's light weight, stylish, gives you option of single speed or fixed gear, plus comes with alternate handle bars and cables that I will switch to one of these days. It came as fixed gear and I changed it to single speed myself in a few minutes. I use my other steel frame bike for city riding, bumps and my Teaba is for bike paths, smooth surfaces. It's a high end bike and the price I paid was a steal. Speed is king and Teaba is fast as hell.

Beautiful single speed
Well made single speed with stellar paint job and pretty good welds on an aluminum frame (I think). The frame doesn’t feel or weigh like steel or chromoly. The crank combo is a 48/16 which is a tad hard for the city but doable. The extra parts included are nice — a set of risers with brake levers, an Allen key set and a spanner. It rides fast and relatively comfortable on the stock saddle. Overall, for the price I paid for it, the bike was a steal. Comparable to an Aventon or State Bicycle track bike but with spare parts as part of the overall package.

Beautiful
So far this bike has been very underrated. It's has a very good frame. I've been upgrading mine out of the stock components and its amazing. The only complaint is the toe clips it originally comes with. When converting to brake less the toe clips are unreliable. Best bet is upgrading to better foot retention if you plan to go brakeless.
