Easy Indian-Inspired Meals That Taste Great, for Vegetarians and Meat-Eaters Alike!
I am extremely glad that I was turned onto these seasoning mixes by Simply Asia! I have an entire cupboard dedicated to spices, but there's nothing like being able to tear open a simple packet on a busy weekday evening and know that dinner is going to be great...every time!Though a little more expensive by weight than buying and portioning all the spices yourself, these packets pay for themselves just in the amount of time they save. Plus, the ratio of spices is perfect from the start and the sealed packets stay fresh for a really long time! Each packet has the perfect amount of spice to make a large side dish for a family of 4 or a main entree for 2-3 people. I will often make a bigger batch and use 2 packets per meal so I have leftovers. My wife and I agree that most of the dishes made with these seasonings actually taste better the next day! They work equally well with both meat and vegetarian dishes! If you're a vegetarian (like my wife), try adding chickpeas and/or imitation chicken (we especially like the Gardein strips cut into smaller pieces). Also, be sure to try almond and/or cashew milk in place of the milk and heavy cream! We were both surprised how well these more vegan/vegetarian alternatives worked!I have tried 3 different varieties of these seasoning packets so far: Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry and Butter Chicken. While there is some overlapping flavors between them, each is also unique. It's hard to pick a single favorite, so I strongly recommend giving each of them a try!For as many meals as you can make with just a small box of these, it's definitely a worthwhile investment, even if you're used to seasoning everything on your own like me!

DILLY DILLY GOOD!!!
Okay,so for years the only time i would have chicken tikki Marsala, was when id visit the bean (boston). So finally I said there needs to be something out there, that I can make on my own easier, rather than buying 20 spices. So I bought these packets and man did I kill it!!! I'am also an ex-head chef so I thought these tips are better pretty good also. If u love chicken like I do, this recipe u can use 2-3 pounds. Yes 2-3. I tend to use chicken tenders cut into 1.5 inch chunks. Any chicken is great. Bone in bone out. I just would do 2 lbs max for bone in. Also I added about 1/2 cup more water, and 1 to 1.5 tbsp sugar to balence out the acid from the tomatoes. I added about 10oz heavy cream instead of the 8oz. I found it more richer and it distributed the spices better. Lastly if u don't have a 15oz can of tomatoes, a 6oz can of tomato paste and 10 to 12oz of water whisked together will do.

If you love Indian food like I do
If you love Indian food like I do, particularly chicken tikka masala, which is what I bought, you’d love this!! This is the only packet worth buying!! I’ve tried other brands & was disappointed! This one was amazing! The result tasted almost identical to restaurant quality, but even milder! Don’t skip adding the heavy cream; I think it’s essential to get the best taste out of this product. I truly love this product & highly recommend it! You do need to add a few products of your own, such as a big can of tomato sauce (not the one for pasta, but for cooking). I forgot if it’s called tomato sauce or tomato paste, but it’s mentioned on the packets. And you need a small container of heavy cream (my personal preference) or half and half. And of course you need to cut up chicken in cubes (dark meat tastes best in my opinion). All the instructions are on the packets. It’s cheaper than ordering the meal at a restaurant and just as tasty! I only buy the chicken tikka masala packets & haven’t tried the other flavors. Also, I do recommend adding about 1-2 tablespoons of sugar to the sauce by the end to reduce some of the acidic taste from the tomato sauce. That’s what I did based on another reviewer’s suggestion on here.

Delicious and easy to use but had to add additional seasoning salt
Very flavorful. In addition to the ingredients listed on the back I added my own seasoning salt and some other seasonings to it . I also added cilantro in the the last 5 -10 min of cooking for added flavor.

Very Easy and Tasty no leftovers...
This was very delicious. Rice helps offset the salty taste. To make things straightforward do this: put powder and cream in bowl and mix it up, add to cooked onions and chicken, let simmer according to instructions.I think you could use 2 lbs of chicken since there is quite a bit of sauce. I also think potatoes, carrots or bell pepper would give it a bit of personality. I add veggies to the Indian Essentials Curry Chicken and it's great.Buy this product! It's a quick and easy way to have an Indian dinner. My two picky eaters loved it and the pot was empty this morning...and that' with doubling the recipe.

Authentic & Delicious!
This Tikka Marsala spice mix is really authentic. It tastes just like the ones that we order from our local Indian Restaurants. Tried many different brands for this mix/sauce and none of them can compare to this one.It was easy to make (about 30 mins/instructions on the back of the mix bag) and delicious. We used 25 percent plain yogurt & 75 percent cream. The kids loved it too!We made some curry roasted Cauliflower, Naan & Basmati Rice to compliment this dish. It was a great Indian food craving fix due for this quarantine/stay at home order.

Tastes like the biryani at the local Indian buffet
I follow the directions each time but put the cooked chicken, spices, and veggies in the Instant Pot with 2 cups of basmati rice and 2 cups of chicken stock. Comes out amazing! Tastes just like the chicken biryani at the local Indian buffet. If I'm in a hurry, I sometimes replace the chicken with chunked chicken from a can. Cooks super fast and is still great.

Discontinued?
This was hands down one of the easiest and family friendly shortcuts to Tikka Masala. Just add chicken or paneer, some tomato sauce and it was a huge hit in my household. Sadly we can't find this anymore.
