Serengeti 8167 Bormio, Shiny Tortoise Black Frame, Polar PhD Drivers Lens

When it comes to my husbands eyes, suffice it to say he is only allowed to consider optical quality sunwear. He selected these and we are both happy. This style is sexy and not age sensitive. The lenses take strain off the drivers eyes on long trips and offers a soothing brown lens that minimizes over coloring & distortion for a more natural viewing experience. We have been fans of Serengeti Italian sunglasses for more than 11 years. Their quality is well worth a look!!

Got these for my husband’s birthday. He had a pair of Costa’s, but didn’t like them. He loves the frames, the lightweight, and said there’s no distortion. Over all, very pleased, with theses glasses! Highly recommend!

Had Seregetis many years ago. After eye surgery I wanted the best optical quality I could afford. My opthamalogist said that these were in the top 5 brands, quality wise. I concur and would purchase them again.

Bought these as a gift for my husband; he loves the weight and the wrap type lens that keeps the wind out on the golf course. Also great for driving. This is his second pair of Serengeti sunglasses.

Comfortable

Loved them at first and then after one month I traveled with them and when I arrived at my destination, the frame was jacked! Not sure how to rectify???

We got the wrap around because we like them a lot. I love polarised sunglasses but can not legally fly with them so I keep a non polar pair for that. I felt they would work great for driving until I discovered the car's instrument displays are not readable. Unless you tilt your head to the side, not exactly how I'd want to drive. Not a problem if your car does not have an electronic display dash. Big problem if it does. They are good glasses so if that is not an issue, they are great for driving and provide natural colour. So, are they worth it? In the right application, yes.
