I see the dimensions as 20 ¼ x 26, but what about the trays, what is the actual size of the trays it holds? Thank you.

This will hold standard full sheet pans and 1/2 sheet pans.

Can it hold half sheet size pans?

Yes. I was able to put two half sheet pans per shelf

What tools do I need to put this together?

Just a pair of pliers or an adjustable wrench. Takes just a few minutes once it is unpacked and set out to assemble. Hope this helps
