Pleasant Scent and Subtle.
Nice pleasant everyday scent. The price is reasonable. I would get this cologne again.

Not long lasting at all
This has a smell for 2 seconds and that’s it. I sprayed this like 10 times and it was gone within a few seconds. It also has a menthol scent to it which is not something I want in a scent. Looking for lavender, not whatever this is.

Fresh not sweet
I’ve been searching for an apricot scent from my childhood. A memory of a little bar of soap from my mom. After smelling a million versions of apricot—one sweeter and more disgusting than the next—I found it. This smells like an unripened apricot on a tree. There is a green, almost grassy or maybe leafy freshness combined with the scent of an apricot that’s not quite ripe or sweet enough to pick. it’s just lovely and fresh and comforting. Nothing sweet about it.Side rant: Maybe it’s my Gen X showing, but I am so turned off by every body wash, shampoo, conditioner, laundry detergent etc. these days. Everything smells chemical sweet and fruity like I stuck my head in a bag of Skittles.

nice, simple old-fashioned rose
I ordered the lavendar, too. I was looking for a fresh, daytime summer fragrance--and lavendar usually does it. But I saw the wild rose and ordered it at the same time, and I'm glad that I did because the lavendar was a disappoinment: smelled strongly of alcohol after first spritz, then like Listerine. Not unpleasant, really, and no doubt perfect for those occasions when you want to smell like a mouthwash. . .The wild rose, however, had a simple, straightforward but not overpowering rose scent from the first spritz--and then a drydown that is soft and very slightly powdery. Just right for a daytime summer scent. It doesn't last, of course, but enjoyable to reappy every few hours. The packaging was very secure on both--and they both had expiry dates clearly stamped on the outer wrapping! That's a nice touch.Bottom line: I would buy the wild rose again--not the lavendar.

Disappointing!
In spite of the favorable reviews it does not have a lovely lavender scent at all.

Remembrance of Lindens Past
I used to live in a place where sweet-smelling linden blossoms perfumed early summer air, evoking a sense of tranquility with their jasmine-honey scent. I moved away from there over 20 years ago, and I was delighted when the smell of Provence Sante linden eau de toilette brought me right back to those sunny afternoons in June, sitting underneath a linden tree in full bloom with my basket of newly-gathered flowers that I would dry and make into a soothing, delicious tea. The eau de toilette starts out strong but not cloying, quickly fades to a lovely mild fragrance. It doesn't linger for more than a few hours on the skin, stays a bit longer on clothing. (Did you know that the "lime-flower" tea that Proust drank with his madeleines is brewed from tilleul, also known as linden?)

The ladies absolutely LOVE this scent!
I'm a bona fide aficionado that has a huge collection of some of the world's most expensive fragrances. I own many versions of vetiver-based scents and this one holds it's own against those costing 20X the price. (Think Creed) Best of all, women constantly ask me what I'm wearing wherever I go, when I have this on. My friends call this my "chick-magnet-in-a-bottle" and rightfully so, because they've seen firsthand the women that swarm me after they've become entranced by it.I hesitate to write this review because by doing so, I'm revealing the secret to attracting the opposite sex. Hopefully, you won't buy this and I'll be able to continue to enjoy my wild popularity amongst the ladies, without any competition. If you do buy it, please remember that it's an Eau de Toilette and *not" an aftershave. A couple of well-placed spritzes will do the trick. There's such a thing as too much, so apply sparingly... and enjoy your new-found popularity. (but don't tell your friends!)
