OEM spare tire, good stuff
Great spare tire kit. Unfortunately Kia doesn't put a spare tire kit in their new cars for some reason, just a tire repair kit that includes a pump and some fancy fix-a-flat. Since I make fairly long trips yearly to see my family I decided I should probably get one. This one is the OEM kit so it fits perfectly, right where it's supposed to. It also comes with replacement stickers to cover the ones that come on the car showing the added spare tire specs. A bit pricey, but it's worth the peace of mind.

Great value for a Kia spare tire kit.
I make a number of long trips each year. After my first out-of-town flat tire and finding it difficult to locate a tire dealer who would fix the flat after I had used the inflator kit with the "goo" it puts into the tire, I decided I really need a spare tire. This kit is Kia OEM and not some knock-off. The cost for the kit with the tire mounted on the rim and inflated, plus shipping was the same as the price for the kit alone from the dealer. Dealer would have charged an additional $100 to mount the tire and install the kit. Installation took 5 minutes and anybody could easily do it.

Every Kia Should Have One
I purchased this for my son's Kia since it did not come with a spare tire. The salesman convinced us that there was no need for a spare tire since most tires get a slow leak and you have plenty of time to get air before it goes flat. Twice my son has had to have his car towed for a flat tire. Fortunately, he hasn't had to use this spare tire yet so I can't verify that it will work perfectly, but it does fit nicely in his trunk and I have peace of mind that he won't be stuck out in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire waiting for a tow truck.

These worked well, as described.
Received the correct OEM kit, priced well, and no problem installing, Still annoyed that this wasn't furnished by KIA.

Everything as advertised and significant savings
This is an OEM KIA Optima spare tire from a KIA dealer in Florida. Everything was as advertised. The tire was filled with air at the correct pressure. It comes with new door jamb stickers, which include the spare tire air pressure. Be sure to select the correct one to stick on your door jamb, since there will be multiple stickers covering the various Optima's that this tire fits (e.g. hybrid, non-hybrid). The jack kit comes in it's own foam insert and it will replace the existing insert. There is room around the tire for the original air pump and to store other items, like jumper cables. You will need a tape measure to properly position the self-adhesive rubber blocks that the spare sits on. They are metric. If you don't have a metric tape measure or ruler, do the conversion to inches online. The free shipping made this about $85 less than my local dealer (also in Florida). Being very satisfied, I just ordered a spare from this company for my daughter's Forte.

Good...
Bought as spare tire (donut) for 2011 Sienna XLE AWD. Never put it on though. This tire is 16" not 17" which disappointed me little. Quality wide there are good spare tire with rim. Sienna Needs 17" spare tires. Costco put a set of new non run flat tire when they saw spare in my trunk.

Better check for the spare Kia owners.
OK, so why get all happy dance over a spare tire? Because if you buy a new Kia or select Fords, YOU DON'T GET ONE. And the salesman will not even tell you that one is not in the car. I drove my 2013 Kia Optima for almost 18 months before I realized, too late, that I had no spare. It's a "weight saving measure" they say. BS, it's a money making measure. After a $70 towing bill and $266 to replace a tire THAT vacation was ruined with a sidewall puncture. If I had a spare I could have at least made it to a discount tire place instead of being towed to my Kia dealer and having to pay their price for a replacement. So right now, if you have a Kia Optima or a Hundai Elantra go check you trunk for a spare. If one is not there then here's your boy right here.
