Good strings
The quality was just fine, and all arrived in great condition. This is the brand recommended by Taylor for its 12 string guitars. I haven’t tried others.

Recommended Strings
Taylor Guitars sent out an email to Taylor owners changing their recommended brand of strings to D'Addario Guitar Strings. It was time to change strings so I got these. I wanted the lightest possible strings so I got these 9s. They sound good. Taylors are a bright guitar and these strings sound bright as well. So far so good.

The answer to A Mighty Need for Tone!
I will never go to Guitar Center again, since they do not carry these strings. Went to their website and Lo! their rep helped me out in choosing the right strings to bring my mid-level Yamaha acoustic/electric to life, unlike the guitar luthier guy at GC who told me 'different strings won;t help' with tone. These strings are so bright and and projective - my acoustic playing is heavily influenced by Al Di Meola, Roy Clark, Yngwie Malmsteen and others with a heavy plectrum mixed with softer attacks, and these strings hold up.

Great for soft touch & string stretches
I'm 76 years old & play chord-melody arrangements. Until I found these light gauge strings for my acoustic guitars, I could only play a song, or two before fatigue set in and I had to rest. Now I play my acoustic guitars as long as my memory will permit.

Easier to play for beginners
As a beginner, my fingers were getting sore playing standard medium guage strings. So, I installed these and they are much easier to play while I build my skills and fingertip callouses.

Great strings, but you can't get them in the ...
Great strings, but you can't get them in the U.S. Talked to one of the company reps and he basically said they already offered the bronze strings in other sizes here and they didn't want to confuse the market. Go figure. I indicated that more choices for the consumer was never a bad idea.
