Great size bowls

I had been looking for bowls about this shape and size and had a specific use in mind when I ordered some of them. They've worked out perfectly. My dad, who said he didn't have much use for them, has decided he really likes them and uses them all the time now. He uses them for all sorts of food, but they're really perfect for his soup. Because of the high, more vertical sides, he doesn't have to walk as carefully and worry about the soup sloshing out of his bowl when he carries it if he wants to eat while watching a game on TV.

Had my eye on this bowl for awhile, and when a good deal came up, I grabbed it. Table and dishware made in the U.S.A. is so hard to find. The bowl is beautiful, lightweight but sturdy, and so easy to keep clean - I usually just rinse it out. But if anything gets caked on, it is super easy to wipe it off with some water and a good sponge or scrubber.The bowl is not big so it is more suited for cereal than a big salad, although it is plenty large enough to use for soup, small salad, and grain dishes. What is also impressive about this bowl is that nothing stains it. I will often have thick tomato paste sitting in it for hours and it never stains. Overall I am super happy with this bowl and would buy it again if this one ever broke.

Update; I was able to speak with customer service and they took care of the matter. The bowls are great. We use them all the time.I stated in a return request of the original order that I had ordered three bowls and only received two bowls in the box. I then again ordered three bowls, which I received and quckly returned the original order that had not included the third bowl. Now I'm be charged for a bowl that I did not receive in the original order. Please refund me the amount you are charging me for a bowl that was not included and I never received in the original order.

Corelle is nice, the red edge adds a little flair, but this is priced at twice what a fair price would be. But if people are willing to pay that much...

This is the best food bowl I've ever owned. Especially for how easy it cleans. Hardly even have to use soap, just put in hot water for a second and wipe it clean. Probably fragile if dropped or banged in the sink, but I'm careful with my dishes, so no problem there.Microwaves to warm up my food and steam broccoli just fine. Even sometimes cook and egg or two in it for breakfast.Love supporting made in USA products that perform great. I'll probably be buying more of these.

The longer I live the more i find myself returning to the simpler things. My mother fed us off of a set of Corelli when I was a kid in the sixties-seventies. It was indestructible. My Mother ALSO gave me a set of six Corelli white cereal bowls when i got married, saying “you cant have too many bowls.” She was right, and 38 years later I have all those original bowls, but I LOVE the depth of these larger bowls, which keeps your oatmeal or cream of wheat from boiling over in the microwave. And they’re GLASS. They zap like a dream and don't get too hot the way pottery can. These bowls are ridiculously affordable—around $5? I bought four white ones at Walmart, but when I saw this bowl with the red band I had to have it. We use them for everything—cereal, salad, soup, popcorn, chips, or a BIG serving of ice cream.
