Made both slippery porcelain and travertine tile much less so!
I placed ADA "shower grade" porcelain tile over my sidewalk to make it look much better. Despite the tile being rated for bathroom (and outdoor) conditions, it was still pretty slippery when wet, and very slippery with snow. I can't yet tell you if it will help with snow - I might have to add a granular product in the fall - but for the summer it made the tile much less slippery so we don't feel like we are at risk of slipping. I also used it on travertine tile that I have in the bathroom that wasn't too bad for slipperiness, but a little less is better when getting out of a shower. It was easy to apply, and I recommend following the directions even more carefully than they recommend. It took only 1 1/2 minutes of being on the tile to do its job, then you rinse it off. They recommended a longer period of time. It does take a bit of the sheen off the tiles, but it is worth the extra safety it provides. Working great and very easy to apply.

Works quite amazingly!
Works quite amazingly! I used it on the tile around our swimming pool & on my front walkway tile. It does make it non slip. The cap had come loose in the shipping and the gallon was not completely full when received. Seemed close to the amount in the photo. Kept it and used it anyway. Pretty amazing that it works so well.

Disappointing performance
I hired an experienced handyman to apply this product to the Saltillo tiles around my pool. After the tiles were power washed and dry, he applied according to directions with a pump sprayer. We tested it beginning at 5 minutes, and every 5 minutes after. We neutralized according to directions at 15 minutes, but it seemed to do nothing. We applied a second coat and continued testing, leaving it on for 25 minutes before neutralizing and rinsing. I could tell no difference in slip resistance between treated and untreated tiles. Not only do I believe I wasted $85 on the product, but we spent a whole day clearing the deck of furniture, sweeping, washing, drying, and treating it.

what a great product. Our ceramic tile floor was a slip ...
Wow, what a great product. Our ceramic tile floor was a slip death trap, especially with wet feet from the shower. We decided to try this product before spending thousands to have the floor replaced. It worked great! The floor looks the same (maybe, MAYBE a bit less glossy), and grips your feet very well.I did about a 1 X 2 meter section at a time, keeping it wet (using a paint brush) for 15 minutes, then cleaned it off with water and baking soda. Took about 1.5 hours to do the larger bathroom, most of that was the waiting periods.

Less slippery but be aware of side effects.
It knocked down the gloss on our white tiles and did make them less slippery. The problem is the floors, entry hall, kitchen, bathrooms, now get dirty very easily, then have a grey cast to them and are difficult to clean.

Won't be adequate for around pool or spa and little children.
The product does make a difference to porcelain tile, but it's not enough to create a proper slip resistant flooring. This would be best used on a traffic area that's not having little children running around (as our client needed). It will also slightly change the tile, but not to the point that you'll really notice. If you need a slip free area around the pool and you have tile, then I'm not going to recommend this product. Instead, you need to look at using an epoxy clear and a slip grit. It's time consuming, it will change the way your tile feels on your feet, but it will also do the job you need it to do.

I would have liked it to be a little more anti slip but ...
I have the most slippery tile through out my house which they also used in the laundry room and pool patio. You couldn't even step on it wet that you wouldn't go sliding and fall. I tried the product and it helped a lot. The floors were not as near slippery as they were before. I would have likedit to be a little more anti slip but this product was a good start.

Works great on ceramic tile!!
It probably depends on your tile type, but this DEFINITELY worked on my outdoor ceramic tile. As you can see in the photo, it took the glaze off the tile and gave it a slightly dull appearance, but the traction is vastly improved. I left mine on for 15 minutes before neutralizing it with baking soda water, and then hosing it down. I’m very happy with my results.
