Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is such a handy little sharpener. I really like its size and ease of use. I got one for each of my boys to keep in their rooms. We use them non stop and so far they are holding up well. Fantastic quality for the price!

Great quality and works like a charm. My mom is always sharpening her pencils and I could hear it 2 rooms away so I bought this one for her. It’s so much more quiet! Plus it’s perfectly portable and sharpens quickly and makes the pencils much sharper than the old one-which is what she likes. Makes mom happy makes me happy!

I like this. I got this because not having to manually my pencils while drawing is great. It works well with all shaped pencils. Colo pencils are fine in here, though I did see my oil based color pencils take a bit more effort and left more in the blade. Sometimes this thing will start spinning on my desk if I hold it the pencils down hard enough, even though there are nice rubber feet at the bottom of it. Cleaning out is easy and quick. It came with extra blades which was nice. I like that it's portable. It is loud though so probably not good for a quiet setting.Overall, I like it a lot. Is it the best? No clue, but it makes my life easier.

It works for me as I do not sharpen frequently. Nice sharp end and extra blades come in the package. I would not use it in a classroom with frequent use but it is perfect for home. Easy to empty and I like the small size.

We liked these for kids homeschooling. It sharpens very nicely and fast. Until… the blade became dull and you have to replace it. It does come with 2 replacements. But because we use it very often for school, we had to search for a replacement blade. I contacted the company and was told to buy a set of replacement blades but it didn’t fit this model. I’ve tried another set that Amazon sells but it didn’t fit either. I wish the company that made this, made it easier to find replacement blades! Do I have to buy another sharpener?

This is a great AA battery (2) pencil sharpener at a reasonable price point. It does the job on the most popular size pencils (#2). Do not expect it to have the power of a corded pencil sharpener, since the batteries will lose power and need to be replaced. You can sharpen dozens of pencils until the batteries need to be replaced. It is a perfectly sized tool for the job. It does come with 2 extra blade inserts which is nice. The blade insert is removable by pulling it straight up and out. Once all of the blades are dull, just purchase another new one, since the price is so low, and there is no reference of how to obtain more blades for this device.
