Here goes, my complete (& hopefully useful) thoughts:I’ve never submitted a poor review, but it’s only fair to do so now since that may help to make an informed decision, to purchase or not, and there are few reviews of this to help others like me (who rely heavily on reviews before making a purchase).I do not recommend this battery at all. It’s value for the money is moot when it’s performance is evaluated. Based on reviews it seemed like a step up from the replacement battery I was replacing. This was my 2nd purchase of a replacement battery for my G5 - the last one was a different brand and it’s efficiency lasted nearly a year (not great, but I had two original batteries from LG from when the phone was purchased at its original release, and between them I got 3 years before efficiency really dropped off).I put this one in the phone and charged it fully when I got it. It performed absolutely no better than an original LG battery I still have. (Which I’d been using until this one arrived.) That is to say; I charge my phone fully at night before bed. For the days I had this battery in, I woke up to a phone that was already down 15-20% of battery life. All the phone ever does at night is sit face down (so ‘always on display’ is not on & using battery).That to me is NOT how a brand new battery should perform. It should be at 100% (or maybe at lowest 97%) after doing nothing all night. A check of battery usage revealed the bulk of that missing 15-20% was ‘phone idle’.I then purchased the same brand that I’d gotten last year & returned this as quick as possible.The new replacement (of old brand I’d used) was received, charged to full when 1st put in phone and performed as I’d expect a new battery to do (yes, overnight that new one held 100% of charge).One last note: with this battery came a card inside that if for any reason the battery does not perform to expectations, to please contact them first. With all due respect to this company, if there had been a way of contacting you that didn’t seem so..... I guess I’ll say... “shady”, I would have done so instead of instant return & poor review. I pulled out that card before I made decision to return this, and really read it over only having given a cursory glance at it when I first opened the battery, and it just didn’t sit well with me that the only way given to contact & give company a chance to make it right, was through a Hotmail email address. Have a legitimate phone number or website, the Hotmail email address just seemed too shady to follow up through.

This replacement battery for LG G5 phone is a great price, if it worked properly. It charged up fine to 100%in about 3 hours the first time. After 8 hours, it was time to re-charge again. This battery would start to take a charge, Within one hour on charge, would go up to 26-32% then began dropping down back to 2-3% I tried a new LG cord and a new charge cube with the same results. Battery would start charge cycle, then drop off. I tried a third charger ending up with same results. I put old battery back in (4 yrs old) and it started charging. Returned this battery via Amazon return policy.

I was a bit skeptical buying a inexpensive battery, but my phone is three years old and I didn't want to spend much. I realized after using this battery that the original factory battery was probably defective all along. I had to leave phone plugged in almost all the time as it would be below 50% by late morning even when I hadn't used the phone. I have had this battery six weeks. Now I go from wake up to bed time without having to charge. Guess I won't be replacing my phone yet. I would recommend this battery and I would purchase again.

I recently bought it. It's as good as the original one.Note that, even with the original one I need to keep my phone in battery saver mode to make it last for almost 8 hrs

I was a bit concerned that my fingerprint reader stopped working several times after I installed this battery, but it has been fine after that first 10 days or so.This battery lasts me all day now, when I was down to about 6 hours per charge on the old battery.

Batteries came and were immediately discharged 3-5 times.The problem is that these were not 3200mah as advertised. It's the standard 2800mah.I contacted the seller and they offered a $10 partial refund or a full refund shipping them back.
